  Group 1: Band of Brothers Vs Las Vegas Black Knights

  Bobseaa vs slamminsam1.

  Sam tried to get this one played and waited online for his opponent but received a message from Bobseaa saying he had left the Band of Brothers CC and ceding the match to Sam.

  Nonetheless, after consulting with their team captain Jim (smittji), he offered himself as a substitute for Bobseaa which was entirely acceptable. However with time running out to get the match played Jim has ceded the match to Sam and the LV Black Knights due to time zone scheduling complications and his work commitments.

  That's a sporting gesture Jim, and thanks for trying to get this match worked out after you were put in an awkward situation.

  Bridgestone Avengers against Los Vegas White Knights. Bobcourt vs Lakeside1952.

  A good game against a brave and worthy opponent.

  He had a couple of bad holes on the front nine and a mountain to climb. He persevered to finish well but I got the win 65 to his 69 (71 - 2).

  I had a great battle with (Subtitue for Calm Waters) VillaDave ...I held a 1 shot lead after the 1st 9 holes & felt good about my game .....Then Dave produced some stunning irons shots on the B9 & beat me 63-66....

  I was checking details of their match. Seems like they played a matchplay instead of stroke play. :O Not sure what that means regarding points etc. Over to Paul to resolve!

  Do you have a question about the spot prizes next week @ Chambers Bay. 

  It shows three CTTH : 

  CTTH 7 (Hole 7 is a long par 4 so should this be 2nd to the 7) or should it be another hole ?

  CTTH 12 (Par 4 but reachable)

  CTTH 17 Par 3

  Shovlovin (Brian ) picked that himself (7th) and i know hes greedy but ive changed it to second shot ;-)

  Borat also picked 12th and that is first shot.

  Most others ive picked but should have checked Brians

  I will post on other world cup thread tomorrow, the leaders with a day (ish) left and the new ones for Chambers as im away Friday till mid next week
