As Always, very nice Gary
My take
(i use full BS on all my Driver and IRON shots)
Hole 1
For some reason, if i am using an iron on my approach to the green, i have to add another 5% power to get close to the hole.
Hole 2
I've found that not going through the trees, results in just as many birdies as going through them does. If your a wedge shot away from green, use full BS as the green is a couple dozen feet above you.
Hole 3
full BS on your 3wood, take 5% off your shot to compensate for roll on green. Wind plays havoc on your ball if you dont ding it
Hole 4
If you're on the fairway right of the hole and don't use a punch or flop, you can use a full shot wedge, no bs. just add 5% additional power. if you try to land it on the green on your second shot, you better add at least 5% to your calculated yards to hole or you will be in the bunker and will be putting for birdie from 20ft if you're lucky
Hole 5
on approach, Use as high a loft iron as you can to stay below the hole.. If not, your likely to roll past the hole and will have a steep downhill curving putt for birdie.
Hole 6
The only hole i dont use full bs on driver. You want to hit the
downside of the hill to get a great roll to 50 - 70 yards to pin.
Hole 7
The Hardest hole to birdie if the pin placement is forward as any approach is going to roll far past the pin. There is a small dead spot a couple of feet before the pin, but its hard to hit. The back pin placement, is easier to birdie on.
Hole 8
Back pin placement is tricky. It sits on a shelf, so a shot short of the pin can easily roll a few dozen feet. IMO, you'd be better off in the bunker behind it for a short flop shot if you're decent at sand play. I also find that the ball in flight on approach goes more right than the wind would suggest.
Hole 9
As suggested, if you have a decent driver/ball combination you can land left of the bunker using full bs unless there is a direct headwind of 10+. maybe a notch more, but you better ding the shot. For some reason, i always have to add another 2% more power on my approach shots to the green
