Didn't mean to strike a nerve, but you sure responded quick. I played with one of the nicest legends on this game the other night. He was having the same issues these guys were talking about and he is a great player. Just saying it's not always the player, he doesn't make those mistakes.

Granted, but you are on here non-stop complaining that everything is not your fault.   These issues for me happen 1 every 10 rounds, if that.   I aim I click, I ding i get my expected result.  You miss ding you open a can of worms.....

    Cheers,

I do apologize with my 114 posts vs your 1200, I'll try to say nothing unless it is 100% positive, forgive me sir.

When I first started I lost a few balls.  Haven't lost one in a couple weeks.  Beat the hell out of a lot of 'em though.

As was mentioned, we don't have hooks or fades, we have pushes or pulls.  Though I do get a sense of shaping IF the wind is blowing in the proper direction.  Like, a dogleg left with a right to left wind, if you can play a pull you get a sense of curving it around the dogleg.  But in general, if you miss the ding right, your ball will head right off the tee.  Hopefully we'll have shaping some day, where purposeful hooks and fades can be used for more than straightening out a breeze.

How about you look at your 448 ranked and a handful of MP before you look any further?

Sir, it is obvious that you will not relent until you have the final say. This said, I only have two questions, 1. Are you as good with a real club on a real course as you are with your computer mouse? 2. What do I need to look at with my 448 ranked rounds? I will not reply to your next post regarding this so you can have the final say. Looking forward to your next thousand posts.

You could have had one more MPC to your name, BB, but you chose to run from a legend with a higher average than yourself...ah well.

My complaint about missed shots off the tee are that the ball starts left or right as soon as you hit it. The wind should not affect the shot until it is in the air thus your ball should still go to the aiming point until it get enough elevation for the wind to actually affect the shot.

That's exactly what I'm saying Duffer. I don't know if it's a bug or a deliberate programming decision but it's not representative of real golf.

Love to hear WGT's take on this.

I know I'm replying to an older post, but the compliant is unfounded and the " real golf " comment is wrong.

Next time at the range, open your clubface up and swing...the ball starts off to the right.

Close your club face, ball start to the left.

Been like that forever, unless you are playing a draw or a fade, but in those cases, you would aim left of the target, and come across the ball with a slightly open face to play the fade(most common way), the draw can be accomplished in a few different ways, but point remains the same.

I have found the meter to be very unreliable as it doesn't really matter where I hit, it's like a lottery anyway.

Sometimes when I hit it slightly to the left, the ball will start to the right! (and the other way around off course). And not just a little.

One thing I've learned, which doesn't help me a bit though, is that when I hit the meter just beside the "ding" it will go way off target. But if i hit it a little further from the ding than just besides it, it will more often start pretty much where i aimed it. Is this a bug or something or is it supposed to be that way?
