WGT - what have you done???

  An hour or two ago I (and I presume everyone else) got kicked out of WGT for system maintenance.  Since then all my irons (9i upwards) and woods are coming up 30 yards short of where they should be.  What was this system maintenance???  And don't say clear the cache; I have never had a problem with cache and have only cleared it twice in the 5 months since I started playing here, and even then it made no difference to anything.  I have already had to pull out of 2 tournaments and a 3rd looks likely the way it's going.

  Works fine for me and few others I asked.

  Next time you get this issue, right click and submit a detailed bug report.

  Well, looks like it might have cleared itself now.  But if it happens again I will report it.

  Maintenance? You're telling me there was a maintenance man doing the rounds and I missed it? Damn and Blast but teasing maintenance men wearing only the most diaphenous of blouses and my Woolie Knix is the highlight of my week.Next time Ike,be sure to let me know in good time,I will gladly donate 30 yards off all my clubs.AND you didnt ask ME if my clubs were okie dokes,I think I might be starting to feel the beginnings of something approaching the start of what might by some be considered rejection.Mehh.:-(

  A little more info...

  In low winds everything seems to be ok.  But when it's high winds the ball doesn't travel anywhere near the distance it is meant to.  Now, I'm told that if you have, say 200 yardshot with a 20mph headwind, you should add another 10 yards (1yd for every 2mph).  So, that would make 210yds.  I would therefore hit my 3i which goes 210.  The ball travels 180.  And downwind, with full bs, it doesn't carry anywhere near what it did do before the maintenance.

  I will see about clearing the cache, but I've never done it before, either after maintenance. an update or after changing my clubs/balls and it's never been a problem.

  Once I have better details I will send a bug report, but for now I'd be grateful if you would pass on the above info.

  I agree - just hit a 160yd iron with the wind of 17mph - full power carried 157yd ????

  I use two different types of ball - GI3-S and Callaway i(z).  Since that system maintenance I have found that the GI3-S ball is coming up short, anywhere from 10-30yds.  And I don't mean when compared to the Callaway, I'm comparing it to before the system maintenance.  Some properties have been changed on the GI3-S ball which is affecting it's distance greatly.  Maybe this is a ploy by WGT to get everyone to use the expensive Callaways.

  I have tried clearing the cache but it has made absolutely no difference.  I am sure it is not coincidence that the problem started right after the system maintenance as I originally posted.  And there is no point in doing a bug report after having played a shot because it will not give you any information that will be of any relevance.

  Hummm, and you all laughed at me when I posted that I was coming up short awhile back. Could this mean that I was actually on to something? Not trying to take anything away from you Mio, Just good to know that I am not losing my mind.

  Im not having any problems with distance, only bugs in the site like logging me out 3 times in last few hours and clicking on certain pages and the site taking me back to the homepage!!
