    Hello everyone,

our CC is currently running a match play tournament and we have a problem in that one of those entered plays on a mobile device so cannot play direct head to head.  We could work around this if he could post his score card to the forum but there appears to be a problem with that as well.

I know nothing about the mobile version and am hoping someone may be able to let me know how to post a score card from there so I can pass the info along.

    Many thanks in advance.

Click "Share Scorecard" while it's displayed at the end of the game.

There's options to share it by mail or social media - worked well with the mail client installed on my android device (brand new ;) )

I think this is what he's been doing.  He makes a post that says he scored xy on abc course which looks like an automatically generated thing.

Trouble is, you can only view the link if you're on a mobile device : (

Thanks for the response, could I ask you for a step by step method that I can pass on?

Difficult since I can't get random shots from the mobile screen...

But, with "Share Scorecard" a selection of apps to use opens. It includes clouds, and mail programs if active, and on selecting my mail app, the pic is added as an attachment to a "new mail" window. I add myself as the receiver and get the pic by mail. I may post it to the internet and quote it here.

    Example:

A more direct way would be to enter the clouds, like google drive or OneDrive...

Another option is for him to upload the scorecard to a photo sharing site (such as imgur). He could then post it to the forum from the link the site generates. Example:

I meant that when I wrote "I may post it to the internet", but I did it from the PC.

Do you know a way to do it directly from the game or after saving it on the mobile device?

(Of course we can read the mail on the mobile, too).

Please explain in a little more detail!

I don't know a way to do it directly from the game. I've always had to save it as a photo and then upload it to imgur. Typically, I sync my photos with my laptop and upload from the laptop.

The thing is that with the last iOS update, when I click on the share scorecard now, it no longer has "photos" as an option to save it to. But it has all the other share options. So I either have to email it myself or take a screen shot. The problem that I ran into when I emailed it to myself is that it wouldn't allow me to save the photo to my hard drive.

So what I did last night and will probably do going forward is just do a screen shot and upload it from my laptop after I sync the iPad and laptop. I find it easier to upload items from the laptop.

    Thanks!

So, from iOS you may take a screen shot - dunno if this is available on Android(?)

Furthermore, the app freezes frequently, bringing the fun to zero. I'm only gonna use it for emergency cases.

Thanks for the responses, I've given the member in question a link to this thread so hopefully he can get it sorted.

I also gave him my email address so he can mail me cards if there's a problem getting them hosted and linked to.

Obviously depends on the exact device but to take a screenshot on my Android tablet I press and hold both the power and the volume control buttons at the same time. Then it's just a case of uploading to a host site/cloud prior to posting on here.
