    Hello qx00,

Have you tried updating Java, Shockwave and Flash player?

Not sure about unable to see where to hit but I'm guessing your zoom control maybe wrong in which case Right-click and zoom in and/or out, it may help.

I have played this on my iPad, it is a far superior experience, the only problem is i can't get anywhere near the ding. So I don't play on the iPad, however the meter is bad on the PC and I can't ding either, so go figure. The graphics are better, the interface is better, the meter is SMOOOOOOTH It shows where they decided to invest their money And if you are after a smooth meter on your PC, be prepared to invest 50% of your waking hours for the next year, and to be told its all your fault anyway.

What browser are you guys usin?. I play both on PC and mobile, and the meter is the same on both using the Maxthon browser on the PC.

Oh I have tried over a dozen browsers and the same number of different flash versions, I would say its pretty playable for me now but the meter speed is pretty random, from what it should be to anywhere twice as fast, it jumps, stutters, and theres a lag after my mouse click.

You kind of get used to it, I am not complaining, just stating how it is, and how much better the iPad playability is, but the ding thing is a bit odd for me on an iPad screen.

I played on my phone and I agree that the meter is super smooth, the ding issue.....I think it has to do with the "tap" - nowhere near as responsive as a click on a gaming mouse.  You end up anticipating the lag between tapping and the program responding to it - just leads to bad timing allover.

I enjoyed the feel of the game on the phone, but for me 3 things mean I will not be using it:

    1) Too small  (although I enjoy the zoom feature on setting spin)

    2) Tap and register delay - hardly ever ding

    3) Not cross-platform

I agree that it's tough to hit the ding on the iPad. But I also think that the game is more forgiving on the iPad with respect to missed dings. So based on my experience, that's pretty much a wash.

But I think the putting grid on the PC provides better information than the iPad.

This. Approaches get much more forgiveness on mobile, but putting much much easier on PC. I wish I could hit approaches on my iPhone then switch to PC too putt.
