When I first get on WGT each day my meter is usually smooth as silk. But after a period of time.(Usually over an hour or so) it starts skipping. Why does this happen regularly?

Sometimes if I refresh the game it will smooth out again, but always only for a short time.  I clear my Cache, do a Disk Cleanup, and clear my History every single day.

This indicates to me that the issue is with the WGT Server.

My Question for Icon;  If I completely close out WGT (Rather than refresh) then restart the site, will I connect to a different part of the server?

Because the way the game handles Flash is not working the way it's supposed to. Basically, used memory isn't getting returned to the game when freed up and after a few games, you run out of free memory and that's when the fun begins. It has nothing to do with servers.

Just refresh your browser every 2-3 games and you won't have the problem. Apparently WGT doesn't see this as a big enough problem to fix because it's been this way for a while.

Yes, but once I've had to "Refresh" it keeps happening over and over again.  Often it occurs every 5 or 6 holes.

Now that's unusual. Are you running on a marginal system with low RAM?

That should be more than enough to handle what's going on, mine's fairly similar. You describe the current Flash bug that I see occasionally but the frequency you get it is the red flag.

It sounds like something else is squeezing the CPU so you would need to monitor your Task Manager to see what's happening. Right click your quick launch toolbar to access it. The Applications tab shows you what's actually open and running and the Performance tab is where you get a look at the RAM and CPU activity.

I've done that.  The problem is that I'm don't know what the programs using CPU's are necessary or can be disabled without effecting WGT.

This will tell you what each process is and whether or not you actually need it.
