I had read comments pro and con about Daytona. The comments also hadsome negative things to say about the 15 foot putting scale and its inaccuaracy. I got the putter and put it in service just before entering some tournaments. Not a very smart move. I immediately began getting bogies and double bogies at least mant more than usual.
The 15 foot scale is totally off. I would guess that 75% of my bogies double bogies were under a foot. Probably 25% under 6 inches. Rim outs happen on even short puts because of the extreme speed.
Has anyone had this happen? I chipped in from about 25 feet on No. 1 at Oakmont. The ball lodged between the lip of the hole and the flagstick. I got the lovely little banner that I had hit the flagstick. Why not give me the score. At least I would have had one less bogie.
I am using Satins, 54, 60 and 64. How do you avoid the dings in chip and pitch shots. If you move to higher distance you are often over the green
Help please!!! Get rid of the 15 foot putting scale that goes with Daytona.
