I had read comments pro and con about Daytona.  The comments also hadsome negative things to say about the 15 foot putting scale and its inaccuaracy.  I got the putter and put it in service just before entering some tournaments.  Not a very smart move.  I immediately began getting bogies and double bogies at least mant more than usual.

The 15 foot scale is totally off.  I would guess that 75% of my bogies double bogies were under a foot.  Probably 25% under 6 inches.  Rim outs happen on even short  puts because of the extreme speed.

Has anyone had this happen?  I chipped in from about 25 feet on No. 1 at Oakmont.  The ball lodged between the lip of the hole and the flagstick.  I got the lovely little banner that I had hit the flagstick.  Why not give me the score. At least I would have had one less bogie.

I am using Satins, 54, 60 and 64.  How do you avoid the dings in chip and  pitch shots.  If you move to higher distance you are often over the green

Help please!!!    Get rid of the 15 foot putting scale that goes with Daytona.

Got to agree, get rid of the 15ft scale.  It has caused me more misses than anything else.  And I know many other people feel the same.  There is absolutely no need for it.

When you get to the upper tiers--your approaches land in the 12--15 foot range.

I have used the Daytona since last September. Once you get the "feel" of the putter--scale doesn't matter.. I use the 15 foot one often..

My one putt percentage is 42% and climbing. Don't blame the putter.

Go back to the Spyder if you don't like it.  The Daytona is used my more Tour Masters and Legends than all others combined...

    rah rah!

And rename it "Beginner",change some of its attributes, its' shape and look, get rid of any scale over 30 feets,I mean, who needs to putt more than that anyway?

Oh,and have it made 1 feet shorter so that I can at least hold it like a normal person without it sticking into my chestal area.

    Thats all really.

But agreed.15ft scale is less use than a chocolate fireguard.(I know,I made one out of toblerone once.It didnt last)

I must have the only one that works!!

I had a career best 27 on the front 9 of St Andy's with it :-)

And a quite superb 61 full 18 at St Andy's with it ;-))))

and on slow and fast greens it's better than my ghost putter!!

Try using a female avatar, the precision is much better.

Jack sparrow has had some amazing scores with his....and he dresses like a girl!!!!

PULL THE FLAG BEFORE YOU HIT! yes it happen to me once, there is a little flag stick icon at the top right of your screen (beside the yardage) click it, it will pull the flag, there is nothing worse then making an awesome chip and having the stick take it all away!

    Hope this helps

I love the putter, just hate the 15ft meter.  As Lizzie says, it's as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

I'm so sorry Lizzie for mis-quoting, I could have sworn you said chocolate fireguard, but chipolata fireguard it is.  Actually, I think a chipolata fireguard is a great idea; you're sitting in front of the TV and all of a sudden you're feeling peckish... voila, sausages at your fingertips.  Makes oodles more sense than a 15ft meter!
