Agreed, winning passes is just a joke. Not even sure if during a clash and u have some passes piled up, whether u get an additional one every 4 hours.

Not that I care one jot.

Free passes are only awarded 12 or 4 hours after the pass count is down to zero.

Thus, any pass bought or won will postpone the next free pass.

I agree whole heartedly, it seems that "buying" passes excludes you from a benefit you would other wise receive if you hadn't bought a pass, I get that it's about making money, nothing in this world is free, except advise you haven't asked for, and WGT exsist to produce a profit from a fine product, so the fact that the free pass is a benefit ( given at the discretion of the producer) only adds insult to injury when players who by definition contribute to the process of producing an income/profit, are left feeling as though they haven't received the value of product they have paid for. I recently played a icc clash and being a enthusiastic newbie I bought about 20 passes (4x5) , so for 2 days I didn't receive any free passes, then won four passes from the clashes which lasted another 2 days, so for using up 700 credits on passes to participate in and contribute to WGT income I too feel that WGT thinks I'm a punter, a mark, the consumer, has my credits and that's that.

My mental problem is - as a client - that the whole CC XP subject, with CC passes, Clashes and the Golden Cal^WPutter has only little real benefit for us (Putt and Shot Pals) and a lot of financial benefits for the company.

You are a perfect example: You payed 700 cr + ball usage for the 35th place of your CC, only to receive four passes which partly "payed" by the free passes that you missed.

Where would your CC have been without your combined efforts? Maybe 300th with a prize of two passes and 700+ cr "richer"?

This confirms my credo: Never buy CC passes. NEVER!

The whole event format is slanted for those who can hack the system. WGT has it set up for those who spend money only. The rules state 'When you enter a clash you get 2 Super Passes', when in fact 'you' don't get the passes, the club does, and the owner of the club cannot regulate how many passes each member can use. That is severely flawed. One person can use up all the passes and nothing can be done to stop them except booting them from the club.

I like participating in the evens but I have lost members in my club because they don't get to fully participate because of what I just stated.

Waiting for the new golf game to get all the bugs out, then I'm moving on.

    No you can!

You can select certain member types to use the superpasses and exclude others.
I allow the veterans label to play the superpasses - selected by their playing capability AKA average and by activity.

You may also set up CC rules for the use. (I didn't) Alas, there should be some common position about the Events - they are controversial enough in themselves.

The only way to be a winner in a clash is to not play in it.

They could also give many clubs 200 passes, and they would have 200 left over.

PaulTon sums it us, the winners are the ones that do not play.

They are not fair, and above all, they are not primarily skill based. Without addressing those points, WGT has pushed away many clubs from wasting their time.

They are volume based and people who play are simply being ripped off. Players say they like to compete, but the objective is to play as many rounds as possible regardless of scores. This is not a competition.

This is the problem...there is nothing tangible on the horizon, This is a good game overall, but being an effective monopoly WGT can dictate pricing and offer crap service.....in other words do what they want.

The irony is they could have been so much more profitable if they listened...in the longer term this hurts the company.
