I've debated over and over with members of CCs I've belonged to about the value of the clashes...which happens to be ZERO VALUE btw.  I've also debated the fact that you don't really get the amount of free passes that they say you earn...because you stop receiving your free passes until you get back down to zero passes.  99.9% of the WGT population doesn't get it.  It's sort of relates to why some people actually voted for Hillary Clinton...again, no explanation necessary if you're in the .1% of the population implied to above..  Basically...clashes are a waste and not a true measure of how good a CC is perceived as being.  I'm thankful to be in a CC that focuses on virtual golf and not senseless measures.

To put it all in perspective this might help...

    +1

Perfect, this picture needs to come up every time they offer the "would you like to buy a Pass box......", with a forced click to close along the lines of "click here to ensure that you have read and understood the contents of this picture".

Maybe then, when WGT wakes up to the fact that CC Clashes get zero support, perhaps then we can get something worthwile.

Not a fact IMHO. See how the winners hone their pointmaking abilities, see how many CCs follow them (in a distance), see how many CCs demand their members to play the Events even though they have zero chances.

To me, the Events may have a worth if the players only get a realistic perspective: You can't play to win the Golden Calf but you may have some fun to play in each clash. It needn't be too expensive - you play anyway, now play this competition with your free passes if you want to!

    Anyway: Have fun!

Wow, big response. Thanks to those who responded. My main point is: It states you get two super passes when you enter a clash. In fact 'you' don't, the club does. One person stated you can regulate who can use super passes. Correct, I do, BUT, any person who can use super passes can use up ALL the super passes. There is no way for me to regulate how many each member can use.

The system Is set up for everyone to fail and 'buy' passes. I'll never do that. The same club wins every time since these events started. Do they use bots? Don't know, don't care, it's just not a fair competition.

I'll continue to play because I love golf, but we need a change here.

CC clashes go against everything golf is about , they set clubs up against equally matched clubs (most of the time), but it is impossible to win as there is no handicap system running for these events .

The Georgian wins every time and always will, until the club folds , that's just not in the interests of the game , it's ridiculous that the same club wins everything and nothing is done to stop this , it's not a level playing field.

As for winning CC passes , that's just a joke , they should all go to the club for using next clash , there's no point winning passes when you lose your free ones , what a joke that is .

In tools there should also be a selection of how Super passes are used , it's  ridiculous that one person could in theory use all of them , regardless whether you have set to only veteran use.

You're wrong. In fact, it is stated correctly in the FAQs =>

And, regulation is quite easy: E.g., define Veterans als eligible and select (some) players. Define rules for use in your CC. If someone breaches the rules, make him Member to exclude him from Superpasses.

Then you might explain how you know who has used them and how many , there is no way to know this?.

Yes but why is here not more control over uses of superpasses?,

Why can't you define use like , one for each player of choice? .

Here's a 'for instance' for you , we played about 10 clashes a few months ago and won 8 , the last clash was against The Georgian  , the score was 20,000 to 49 if I remember right , nobody apart from the first player played a round , not even me as Owner , why? , what's the point? , if we all bought passes and played out of our skin , the most we can score is about 1500 to 2000 , tell me that is the correct way to run clashes?.

This was the final clash of the tournament , even if I could save them all for final round we did not stand even the possibility of winning , it's wrong.

The last 2 clashes nobody has been able to play final round , why is that? , no 'play game' button , as most of us play on mobile I figured it was because the round or course wasn't available on mobile , but that's a guess.

Sorry --- going off topicals it appears, but this has been with me for long time & curious if perhaps my thoughts are true or whatnots. This banner that they use for the entry page is truly looking like some future golf arena......perhaps Mars. See the red tones and gases.....looka lot like Mars. Sayin --- maybe a clue to the next course? And why does that one guy not have anything in his hands like the others?

Just asking questions here. THX - Yancy
