For the past week or so my screen graphics have been pretty "choppy", changing game options for LOW QUALITY has no effect, reflections OFF, etc.

I've cleared flash and browser caches.

Meter is fine, as it always has been,

Happens in IE, Comodo or Chrome browser.

I run Game Booster as well.

What I mean by choppy, is say, my putts used to roll nice and smooth, now they "skip" across the green.  Ball flight as well, i/e instead of a smooth flight, th ball seems to fly in increments.

I'm sure it's something with my system.

Just gives me a headache watching the ball after hitting it..lol.

    Any suggestions?

I have the same problem too sometimes, MB- the graphics showing the shot result are stuttering like crazy. When this happens the meter isn't real smooth the first swing but calms down after a free swing. Invariably, it goes away later in the game.

I usually see the HD light spazzing out at the same time so I'm also thinking it's on my end too but I have nothing else running when it happens. I fooled around with the game rendering options with no difference plus I saved a game and restarted in another browser to eliminate whatever that eliminates.

My thought is it has something to do with Flash since it seems to have started about when Flash's latest release was presented but I'm too lazy to figure it out. That's Andyson and Infinitio's bailiwick anyway.  :-)

Its probably the new software they are running, to stop you playing well. Your 8 foot from the hole, ding a lovely shot, the picture is running smooth and the ball is sailing towards the hole. Then suddenly, choppy screen, and the ball takes a different path and misses. Sound familiar?

Are the adds running in the background? Seems like the more adds that appeared in the game window the jumpy game has become.

    Hey Jim,

I notice my HD running more too as well as my CPU fan, maybe just a coincident in time frames.  Might be time to pull things apart and clean out some dust off the CPU heat sink, I found some info that (with LT's anyway) dust inhibits the CPU cooling and slows things down quite a bit.

See ya'll after I find my small screw driver set;)

This advice will actually help ALOT MORE than people think. I do this on my desktop, laptop, and Xbox atleast once every other month or so. (more thorough than just the heatsink though, I clean all connections and internal components). When cleaning the heatsink though the best idea is to take an acetone (like a high concentrate nail polish remover) and clean all the thermal compound from the heatsink and the top of the processor with cuetips. Then apply a new coating of compound (can he found at most electronics stores like Frys for around $10) before reapplying the heatsink.

Take your high powered shop vac to it.... it sucked some old solder droppings and a few loose wires right out the computer case vents.  Just kidding.....

I also recently started seeing jerky ball movement as putts roll (hopefully) toward the hole. Clearing flash cache and changing animation quality did not help. Neither did uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash.
