    J-errrkyy--- JuMpyy.. MetEr..

Any help with a jumpy jerky meter........ AV is in game mode, ran CC (Crap Cleaner), reinstalled Browser.... Currently using Opera on windows 8.1. all updated   etc...

The meter stop, start , zoom shot pass the ding mark. always hitting early or late, mostly late as it stops then Zooms right pass the mark. I have tried MSN, Google, Comodo but the jerk keeps coming by. will go away for a short time. maybe a game or 2 then right back to the SOS.

Thanks in Advance for any assistance you may provide.......

Nothing worse.Totally ruins the game. It's handy to clear both your browser cache and Flash cache from time to time as they tend to choke up the system. All I can suggest is to change browsers as I do from time to time. At this moment I am using Blackhawk and as and when it starts to play up I just switch to another.

I may not go back to Blackhawk for a month or three and do nothing to it but it just seems to work after a while. I've found that all browsers do that. As and when they play up just ditch them for another and go back to it in the future.

My main go to browsers for WGT are Ghost and Comodo Ice Dragon but some will tell you that they have used the same browser for forty years and haven't touched it's workings. Good for them. Unfortunately for some of us, we have to mess around with them to maintain a smooth game.

I would add, without any rancour, that I only have these issues with WGT. All other sites I use cause no problem.

I haven't tried the Comodo Ice Dragon, however I do use Comodo Dragon... Google Chinese style.... They also have a newer one called Chromodo or sometime like that. Tried it once but still had the SOS. Ice Dragon is the Firefox version I believe.

I really like the Opera Browser as it works well with most email systems and has it's own AD Blocker..  which I keep on....

Will give it a shot, thanks for the  quick response....

Ghost for me went to crap. Every  time I try to load it I get an error message saying

    ghost.exe- Application Error.

X The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000003a) click OK to close the application.

I have emailed them about this twice with no response. I can't even uninstall it and reinstall it. It wont respond to the uninstall program.

i wonder why that is? Could it be WGT is the only site that has a meter to click?

I have tried them all and the best one  i came up with is maxthon5 which i learned about ehre on the forums recently and i was amazed by it, and it also has adblocker already installed. I use it just for WGT and it works great, and theirs a setting where you clear your cache, you can check a box to clear your cache every time you close the browser. so when your done playing and play next time thats already takin care of for you already, only thing you gotta do is manually clear flash player cache manually b4 playing which only takes 5 sec's. You would be very happy with this browser, but only use it for wgt, and book mark the WGT game client on the book marks bar and set it to your homepage, so when you open the browser WGT game client loads up and you login that way instead of going through the website and having to login and then click play to open the game client. that way everything is kept limited when opening the game and everything and files are clean and your ready to rock and down some birdies with a very smooth meter! Hope you try this one! You wont regret it!

It seems it is a "feature" of the game.

I think so because if you use the 3-clicks meter (go to equipment and click "meters" and then equip that one) you notice the jerking is sorta "integrated". What happens is that when you click the meter shows the late deviation.

I use that meter because somehow it helps me. It appears smoother. I'm not sure about this. It actually is less convenient because I have to click thrice, but you try it.
