I did not see the thread or Damian's comments but I disagree Icon - rules are guidelines and as such you have discretion.
If players get a time out for retaliation, surely players baiting are the bigger culprits and should also get a time out?
And to be honest, I doubt there are many, if any regular forum contributors who have not broken the posting guidelines at some stage.
WGT are the ones who lose out as a regular player like Damian will not spend in his absence, so would it not have been prudent to give warnings first (IDK this may have occurred)
Reverse your decision, and respect will be gained.
I think everyone here knows that if you said the same, you'd got a timeout as well. you have said worse things in past, but you know exactly how to word something with an impact, yet follow rules. that allows me to smack you around a bit, but also to respect your point and address it, as needed.
that thread turned ugly very quickly and few folks acted with feelings, not brains. it doesn't deserve a ban, but a timeout is justified. everyone needs time to cool off, as to forget the genitalia closeups, which, trust me, i see alot more of, on these forums, thanks to your fellow players...... eeeeeeeeeeeeek
