I remember you. :-)
Joshnosh: is their a major difference between the 92 and 95 irons.
Yes, both Precision AND Accuracy went up. This is unusual because one is usually a trade off for the other-more forgiveness at the cost of accuracy and vice versa.
In the case of the 95s-which originally came out as 100s as noted above- they turned your R11s into a set that does what your 3,4 and 5 irons do now. Those 3 irons always held well with a decent ball and the 6-PW were their own thing. The first thing I noticed with the Vapors was the PW was another CG! And the 6-9 weren't far behind. They were a major improvement over the R11s simply because now ALL of the irons played like those 3 I mentioned.
I went from those R11s you have directly to the (then) 100 Vapors and never played the other irons. This was my experience when I was where you're at with the equipment and IMO, you should go with the 95 Vapors and be done with it. ;-)
p.s., I learned them with the old 33 Callaway which I think is the same ball you use now., I use the 71 Nike with them now because the carry is very close to the rated distance. Makes it easy to play by instincts.
