I made Legend a couple/ few weeks ago.  I still have not recovered and it seems like I am struggling much more than when I was a TM.   I know the T box is farther back qand that does'nt help but  it seems I am having more troubles with the rest of the shots too.

A Champion told me that when I moved up to Legend, I would now have "Less Forgiveness",  as in it is way more important to Ding the meter and when I don't the punishment is more exagertated or magnified.

I did not know this and had never heard of this before.   Is this true?

    Thanks, Max

No, everything is based on your equipment & ball choice & your talent

Your status from your profile tells me you were not ready for being a legend.

You've been thrown in the deep end, you'll now need to learn how to swim...

^This. On top of that, moving to those back tees changed your approaches and now you have to use longer irons which require a little more finesse and course knowledge than what you needed up to now.  The plus side is that once you learn how to overcome this, it won't change in the next tiers. The green speed is all that will change.

Actually, as you struggle, foregiveness- not the club spec, but how the game plays, ie VEM, tends to ease up and when you shoot "lights out" it tends to then make the game harder. Your stats suggest, as would be expected after reaching Legend in only a year, you just need to keep playing, and learning.

WGT`s newest driver, very forgiving, will be available soon:

Well, Max, like Paul and Jim said: You climed the ladder very fast, and now many things are all new. Best of luck for you, such a challange can and will be a big fun!

(-: thanks for the encouragement guys, I guess I just have grin & bear it and get back up to speed with the big boys. I do want that big, big mammoth Berta tho when it comes out. I wonder if maybe WGT will give a special low interest financing option for it since they will probably want about 100.000 credits for it.

Champion the wonder horse was it? Straight from the horse's mouth too. Grin and bear it is indeed the way forward but then I wouldn't believe too much in what Yogi tells you either. Just keep plugging away Maxey, you'll get there.

I have to ask,  y? I have played countless rounds of practice, and about 4000 coin games and have worked thru so many of the miseries of advancement.  I thought it would be very prestigious to wear the higher tier titles.  But now after reading this blog I have come to realize that it just might not be a reward for hard work. I've worked very hard to get to where I am, but not without alot of flusteration, aggravation, and sometimes embarrassment of starting over at the longer tee boxes, faster greens with ungodly slopes, and being as competitive as I am, again I ask is it worth it? Am I taking it too Serious? If I quit playing ranked rounds and play no events, tourneys, will I stay where I am, or is there still advancement in my future?  Curious minds want to know.
