  I'm not paying a significant amount of money every month for balls and equipment so I can get spam email from an insurance company!  I'm sure you were paid a pretty good amount to send these out!  As a WGT player, I expect to be compensated for this nuisance and invasion of my privacy.

  1) I'm guessing that you gave them permission in the T&Cs, or that they take allowance from US laws.

  2) Complain to WGT, not to us.

  3) How much is your damage that you want to get compensated? How much does it cost to detect and delete a spam mail on your private account?

  I am guessing you did a survey, and put your email address in......a real email address ......LOL.

  And what damages did you have in mind for your faux pas?

  I have a figure in mind.... beginning with a Z.....as in Zero.

  No Alan surveys had nothing to do with it. In account under contact information the second tick box is "receive offers from WGT  partners" if that box is checked either WGT or a WGT partner can send you emails with offers. This particular email offer was sent not by Geico but it was sent by WGT. If people don't want offers like

   this just make sure that box is not checked

  Interesting Joe - my box has never been ticked as I suppose I am an untrusting soul who detests spam. That said I do not have any of the boxes checked.....but still get email notifications of CC events etc......so does the boxes being checked or not actually make a difference?

  If I got compensated for every unwanted piece of spam I've received I would be so rich I would have Trump as my groundskeeper. Like someone said, reading your message is 2 minutes I'll never get back. Grow up please.

  Once on a mailing list... always on a mailing list!!! Bottom line is simply this---we all live in an "E" world and privacy is simply an illusion, as if it every really existeed at all! Get used to it, as it will only get worse!!!
