    WGTadmin2:

    Thanks to everyone for the feedback. As usual we are reading all the feedback and very clearly understand that the TruGolf courses are not HD Photo quality and that green fees are not what you signed up for.  This being said TruGolf has a very high level of quality and the courses are very fun to play.  This was the best solution we could come up with to bring you more courses faster. More courses was the number one request by the players. For those who want more content.. here is a new option and one that enables you to use the same character and equipment you have invested in.

    For everyone else we are flattered that you love the HD photo courses so much and we will continue to get them out for you to play for free.  We will continue to work on adding more pin positions and adding other features to increase their play options.

    Trugolf is simply a new addition to the overall experience.  WGT will continue to be the best online place to play golf and you will always get free great HD photo courses to play on.

    WGT - first of all, thanks for responding.

    Agreed, many players did ask for new courses (particularly the Cheez clan!) without maybe realising how much goes into getting a new course ready for play.  As I said earlier, I'm not sure I will be playing the current TruGolf course again and maybe any new ones more than only once too see what they are like.  As has been said many times already, these courses aren't what we consider WGT standards, but given the right courses (Augusta and Sawgrass come to mind) some players may get pleasure out of them.  Like you say, we don't have to play the TruGolf courses but they are there for those who wish to.  If they bring you income to pay for setting up new WGT courses, then maybe that's no bad thing.

    One thing I think all players will want to be assured of is that the WGT format we've all come to enjoy and love (the meter excepted!) will not be compromised by time spent on the TruGolf courses instead.

    SgtDoodles:

    34 footer drained on #8. The new course would be extremely fun without the FakeGolf images.

    heh-heh! I also had a 34footer on #6 for bird too, Sarge.

    Perhaps the course is being "forgiving"... for "giving"?  ;)

    This is just something to make you want to puke. darn bloodsucking, we the members make wgt golf successful via the money generated, its time we stood up and call the shots.

    This is not the only good game that can be played on the nett, boycott members let be heard

    thebigeasy707:

    Total = 78,800 cr = $788 = £480

    =====================

    TBE

    TBE - no disrespect, but that's only 6 months worth.  However, what that means is that in 1 year you'll have put in $1000, all things being equal of course.

    EDIT:  Sorry TBE, I saw the 480 and thought that was $'s but it's £'s.  So it will be around $1500 in a year.

    I agree with the majority on this and that Members are paying far too much for far too little.  Many of us are already paying thru the nose for Balls just to slow the meter down and if the owners of WGT are now presumably Millionaires from the "100 million rounds" that have been played + the cost of better Equipment, Tournaments and Rentals and everything they charge for; then don't you think it's time for WGT to now Give Something Back to its Members who have helped make them prosperous and the most popular Golf Gaming Site on the Internet? ;)

    I just played the CTTH version and while it is not up to the standards that we have come to expect from WGT it is still far better than anything I saw on TWO when I played there before joining here.

    What excited me though was Admin2's statement that Royal St. George's is coming for the Virtual Open. That is the first statement from anyone from WGT that The virtual Open @ Royal St. George is in the future.

    I concur with Bollox.  Good initiative.... BAD judgment WGT!!!  Your effort to add courses faster is at the cost of your customers, and we're paying for a lower quality product?!?  Seriously?!?  Degradation of quality for the benefit of a shorter production cycle at the cost of your customers is a terrible business practice that will cost you anticipated revenue.

    hell...what a blody greediness!, CHARGE GREEN FEE TO PLAYERS WHO HAVE NOT SPEND A PENNY IN YOUR GAME WTG!!!

    I have already used plenty of dollars on your game, why the hell I'm going to pay for green fee of a new stroke course?!!

    the blody game is still BETA = unfinished, the blody meter sttuters no matter how big u'r pc is or u set u'r internete connection best....fix the game FIRST!!!

    ....realy wish it was a european team coming with a golf SIM alike (someone else programming in flash), then u'll see how your american greediness will send 90% of the WTG users away.

    how long are you going to keep us using your game taking this silly attitud?...not for long.

    FEEDBACK:  For Match Play Challenges on Cabo - ELIMINATE the usual "WGT Fee" since you are paid a "Green Fee" up front (that WGT splits with TruGolf).  At least streamline it somehow so we are not hit with fees in 2 different places.

    In other news:  A picturesque view of  an opponent in"Hard Sand 15-20%" from Cabo.  (NORMJR went on to beat me 1 UP in 9 Holes).
