    RyjaTybas:

I can't believe all the FROTH about the TruGolf game - either play it or don't. It doesn't make any difference to the rest of WGT. Why all the HYSTERIA?

The froth, or hysteria, is because the players who have been here for quite some time can see that this is only the beginning of the end of WGT as we know (knew?) it.

To charge us to play a crappy cartoon course will lead down a road taken by TWO and other lesser online golf games.  It is the very opposite of what WGT was and could still be.

If you want a smooth meter, pay as you play, and cartoon courses that will let you shoot -36 for a single round of golf, TWO is still your best option.

Hey Snaike.... I have no truck with TWO - load a'crap... And I'm also a long-standing WGT'er. Sure, it would be a big worry if this "green fees" lark got out of hand. But it seems to me that people are overeacting.... I'm certainly not going to cough up 100cr in green fees - but is there any harm giving people the option?? Best

When TWO came out of BETA, there were only a few Pay to Play courses.

Now you can't swing a dead cat over there without having to shell out money per game, per month, etc etc..

What the folks here are saying is that the road TWO took starts with one course's greens fees and headed straight downhill from there.

Perhaps some are overreacting... but when you smell smoke it's time to look around for the fire.. no?

I played the ctth on this and the course wasn't that bad. However, for WGT standard, it really is not up to par for WGT. I will not pay a green fee and if it comes down to paying a green fee for every new course, then I will not be playing.  I really love the high quality of the other courses from WGT and really hope they don't mess up a great game.

OPD-You're overdoing the class clown act.

Sorry Jim, but if I could get my cpu usage to drop below 37% before each shot, just so I can feel confident with my meter's performance. Then I assure you I'd be using my time playing, instead of posting on this thread with buffoonery posts.

Zag!?  See what you started with your first post just over 12 hours ago! WGT is going to blame you for the firestorm that you started with the word "BETRAYAL".

    WGTadmin:
Because TruGolf courses are licensed, WGT needs to charge players a greens fee for Cabo and future TruGolf courses, as follows:

    0 credits – TruGolf closest-to-the-hole
    100 credits – TruGolf 9-hole stroke-play
    150 credits – TruGolf 18-hole stroke-play

Is it just me, or does anyone recall that this paragraph originally said "200 credits - TruGolf 18-hole stroke play" this morning???

Maybe I saw it wrong being all misty-eyed at the direction WGT decided to go.

    But then again.. maybe not.

    WGTadmin:
We’re already working on our next TruGolf course, which is a resort mountain course, and making plans for the rest of the year, based on how WGT players react to the first TruGolf courses.

Right.  Can I sell you the Golden Gate Bridge, too?

OK, I'll grant you that! Sure, we all want to protect the game we "know and love". I see this Trugolf thing as a minor option (like buying XP drinks) - but if its the start of a slippery slope - then I'm with you 100%!

Green fees ??  I read through the 33 pages and it seems obvious that the large majority of your customers are not very happy, to say the least, and I'm one of them too, what r you gonna do about it??
