  Anybody know how you switch off the music.  Driving me mad

  Click on the music note symbol at the top of the volume control.

  

  or you can turn it off using the game settings option in the drop-down menu tab.

  That is the way I do it - I have all sound off......but if he wants other sounds on but the game music iff - under the game client go to Menu - Game Settings - Audio - Music Volume -TURN OFF

  Hi, 

       The music volume Is unfortunately linked to the game Invite volume so If you mute the music volume you will have to be looking at the Game Invite button & waiting for It to flicker green with a game Invite

  Indeed Ken, that's why mine is left up a tad so I can (sometimes) hear that slightly more pronounced ring of an Invite.

  Hi Phil, 

                Thats exactly the way I have It set, The music volume just up a hair/just enough to hear the game Invite which are like buses, no sign of any & then you get three at once! ;)

  I only discovered that the music & Game Invite were linked when I switched to headphones on Paul's advice (pmm711) but the headphones are great for helping me concentrate & blot out the kids killing each other

  Well one could just start a game and sit on the tee box. Music is mute but game invites are not. So if you're trolling the forum or web surfing you'll hear an alert. Only down side is if you have a lot of friends logging on/off you'll hear them too.
