Why does my ball roll forever on the greens?

  This might be a dumb question but I'm playing at a level 46 and ever course the greens seem super fast. On my approach I have alot of shots land close to the flag and roll 30 yards or depending on the green but the ball always rolls forever. I'm wonder is it just the greens or do I need a better ball? thanks

  You need to look at spin attributes on both clubs and balls.

  Your equipment is starter gear, thats the reason.

  Upgrade your clubs first. Meter and spin are important factors regarding control.

  Then get a ball with at least 2 in spin attribute.

  The game will be much easier then

  Thanks for your help. It has been so frustrating but I thought it might be related to spin. I should have asked sooner.

  As said above, it's the gear AND the balls.

  Starter balls are easy: Play full backspin all the time!

  Starter clubs are more difficult yet predictable: Ball trajectory is low, resulting in a few hindering facts:

  - flight is short, roll is long. You won't be able to come across front-of-the-green bunkers easily.

  - flight is low, meaning that shot length is heavily shortened by upslopes. When common sense says, one yard more, you should take one club more!

  BTW: The worst Starter clubs are wedges IMHO - exchange them first, but not below L28!
