Grey area

  Does anyone have an idea why I am getting a grey area on the main page ( not  the lobby ) under WGT on the left side only? 

  It does have an arrow in the middle of the grey area, that when I click it the grey area goes away and all is normal, the play now, invite friends, all that becomes visible.

  Sounds like the Google Chrome thing, not accepting Flash unless you click on it or something like that. Was an issue about a year ago I think. Forum search should bring up some info on it for you.

  I get that occasionally when I open WGT after using Facebook or Twitter. I just close the browser and restart and all is well. I think it's a case that not every application running knows how to play nice.

  It is strange....but I have seen it before as well.   Using chrome, this grey area only shows up when I originally go to WGT and directed to my profile page.  If I click and go anywhere else (without clicking the arrow in the grey box).....such as the pro shop, the box disappears.  Perhaps some coding issue with chrome and WGT's  member profile page??

  Much of the left column is Flash area - all below the WGT logo. You can check this by right clicking - the pop-up will show Flash in the last line.

  In FF, I have such grey areas, too, when the Flash plug-in crashes (what it does too often). There also are times when FF refuses to execute Flash automatically, on WGT and on other sites.

  I think Chrome did something with regards to Flash and security. I now have an icon in my address bar that showed up in the last week or so and when you click on it you get this.......

  

  I have WGT as an exception so I don't need to enable the plugin but I do see what the OP pointed out for an instant. To except WGT, click the "Manage" link and enter wgt.com in the box that pops up.
