Why is it that every green seems to be on a slope? No matter how much backspin, what club or swing selection I use, the ball continues to roll on the green. Every course seems to be the same way. Whats the deal?

    Beginner's fate (L19) ...

It's your equipment. The Starter clubs have a low trajectory (though they state differently) and almost no backspin which fits to the Starter ball - no backspin.

You'll have to adapt your game to these characteristics - let the ball roll and accept long putts.

When you rise in level, you will have access to better equipment, but if you rush it, you'll have to pay for too many clubs.

A budget approach might be to learn the game with what you have (try full bs on ALL of your shots!) and decide to buy later. E.g., a 3WD at L31, wedges at L40 and then try some custom balls (B-ES or Tour-SD). Be patient before buying Driver nd Putter.
