  Ok enough is enough thanks.

  Demug and Bidi seem to have this very one-sided. Do they not think my players have tried to get the games going...do they not believe that my players have been sending invites as well?

  On several occasions my players have sent the game invite when other players have been green and not received a response. Whether this is because they left their computer on, or had walked away from the computer is unknowen, but they DID try.

  I do have members who could fill sub positions, but they dont want to for the simple reason some of the matches are impossible to play.

  Thanks for suggesting I forfiet 1 team and make 1 from the two, I had allready suggested that, but we have decided to totally withdraw from the Summer Cup this year.

  This is a fantastic competition and well done Slor.

  I'm pretty sure I've posted three results for the Yorkshire B Team (Gravy) and sadly, it doesn't look like the two remaining games will be played. All four have been in touch with each other and I've chased and harried as usual but I think time differences and working patterns are going to get the best of us.

  Justtoogood lost 2&1 to awsomeal

  goeasyonme lost 2&1 to muckyduck

  Maverick0 lost 4 & 3 to Leadian

  and since we are three down the remaining two are moot I think.

  Well since I got left in charge while Slor is away here is my decision - if your club faced a time change difference then I will accept late scores by and additional 24 hours. I have absolutely nothing to gain or lose by making the decision. My team is completed we got swept 5-0 so it truly is an unbiased decision. However, my guys faced in Round 1 time difference up to 7 + Hours and were frustrated at playing in the weee hours of the morning and did not shoot like they normally do from being half asleep lol.

  This tournament is not mine so I have to tread carefully but I am not sure why Markers are not being used and I will bring it up to issue when Slor returns. It would stop all the problems with time differences. For those of you that don't know what a marker is its a person that joins you on the course to insure conditions are set right and they  post their score with you on scorecards. They cannot be from the same club as you are they have to be from another club. It would make sense to be using this during this competition so that folks stop getting frustrated.

  But all I can do is extend the time out for clubs that are facing time differences and speak to Slor when he returns.

  That's a really good question. Currently Beryman your team is 1-3 with Skype Players leading in this round so even if they forfeit that game it will be 2-3 with them winning. Technically Skype Players if it was me I would simply of stepped forward and forfeited last game and stayed within the deadline. Beryman you were given a player that could not play - you make the choice I will accept the score late if you elect to play it or if you force the forfeit it shows on the scorecard as not played and you receive no points. You make the decision and let me know.

  hits the nail on the head, have fun and try our best to get it all done woo hoo.

  I think that's a brilliant idea to combine the two teams since I assume there are 5 players that are very active.

  my cc has won 3 out of the 5 matches and the remaining 2 matches is not likely to be played..

  reason is..1) .rshonia vs rubikqube game ...according to captain of the upton manor 

  RyjaTybas his player rubikqube is not available even though he tried his best to get replacements still unable to find one...

                     2) laraposa vs bigrednev...my player laraposa is on holiday and we suggested replacements with johnbeule13 or patriotsplaya....and a response has still not materialised.....

  my question is ..since we won 3 out of the 5 matches...what should we do??..and with respect to our opponents....and the players involved..we have tried our best to contact each other and get the game underway but to no avail...if these matches are unplayed ..what will be the outcome and  the results..of game 16....

  thanks bootsie ..ure really doing a great job...in slor's absence..

  On game 10 Moondogs A v Deviations B you got Lvietri winning against SAR2288. The raw data shows SAR winning 1up and SAR also messaged me to say that he had won.

  Hi Bootsie.... just to compete the picture - yes we tried to get the games finished but were unsuccessful. I'll have to take the blame for 1 missed match (rshonia v rubikqube) as my player seems to have gone awol and, with resources stretched, could not find a replacement in time. As for the other match (laraposa v bignednev) - my player was told 12 hours before the deadline about a 1st possible replacement - and then an hour later given a 3rd option - but amidst all the confusion, time ran out. Well played BLS - and I think you earn a well-deserved point. But a shame we couldn't play it out nevertheless.
