    Hi Bootsie

Upton Manor Crocs v UKGE D...

The result was actually 3-2 to Upton Manor -- raykinmore won 10-0 v jackoarthur - as I reported (jackoarthur lost to....) - but it gets confusing just filling them in - never mind the great job you are doing!

    Cheers, Ryja

my fault I didnt save before I posted and it scrambled stuff. That was twice it did it to me so now I know its a software glitch and can avoid it in the future ...thanks for bringing it to my attention hugsssss,

Hi bootsie,  we tried getting a late replacement for the final match but were unable to in time so we forfeit the last game

    brindille v KnuckleWoods

    many thanks  Darren

p.s  as a side note, the match was arranged to be played saturday evening between 8 and 9 pm gmt but knucklewoods failed to show !! i too had difficulties getting my match played and ended up playing a 3rd replacement !! i have agreed to the forfeit to close the match but in reality it was the electra opponent who failed to show up at the agreed time and yet it seems like we are the team punished because of it...very strange

Luckily this game really didn't hinge on decisions of who won the round so that part is good but I honestly think markers need to be in place here for situations like this. The last thing anyone wants is 2 clubs upset at each other. That is a total contradiction of what these type of tournaments are about. Both Electra and your club Skype Players Club are known for being outstanding clubs and tough competitors and for the record I admire how each club is ran.

    hugssssss,

Oh boy now this one is a tough one........here's the deal

YBRCC Team Gillikins - I need a captain of ANY OTHER YBRCC CAPTAIN or Club Owner to step forward and forfeit to Elite CC B team. Unfortunately it appears your captain of Gillikins is missing in action and that is fine. We all have lives so no worries that you had a life to take care of but .........

This score greatly impacts the final results because currently Elite CC B team is 4-0  and that  could totally impact the entire outcome of this whole tournament. There is no impact to team Gillikins but I am asking you as a club to do it  because I will always promote clubs standing up and doing the right thing before I am forced into the position of having to.

    hugsssss,

    ~Bootsie ~

    Hi Bootsie...

A query concerning Upton Manor Alligators v BLS....

My player number 3 - and their player number 4 - are both keen to play....

Would it be allowed for us to switch the playing order so they can both get a game - against each other?

    Will await your ruling!

    Cheers, Ryja

You can't change your line up but you can insert subs that are not playing on other teams for your club. Sorry wish I could of said yes to you on that one cuz I know you guys are busting butt to get these games in but that would be an unfair advantage to the other clubs.

for what it's worth, as a captain myself, I would accept any lineup change if it lead to more/all matches being completed.  Ideally, no "tier" improvement would occur in such a situation.

I am just "sharing" my thoughts; not calling or demanding for any type of rule "change" or specific interpretation.

good luck all & thanks to Slor, Boots and all other players & volunteers for a fun tournament.

the most successful/active teams should think about meeting up for a "fall cup"

    cheers

That's a Slor situation to answer cuz it's his tournament but imagine all the difficulty that could arise when each side want the other to play someone else and can't agree ......that would of created HUGE PROBLEMS lol ( and thankies for the compliment hugs)

Could anyone tell me if it makes a difference to the standings if you lose 3 - 1 or 3 -2?.

    thanks

According to the program yes it does. Let's say two clubs are tied then it counts. So true scores do count.

OK, thanks ...in that case I will be asking UKGE B for a forfeit of the unplayed match in the contest with English Lakes Juniper.
