two probably dumb questions. when i started playing my round at oakmont, rather than hitting the ball, it was taking practice swings. what's up with that?
and it wouldn't let me play pebble beach. is there some kind of restriction on that? thanks.
If you mean your wiffing it then you obviously are not hitting the line or ding when the meter goes across. Try a different course and then go back.
Pebble Beach is not available as yet.

That happens when you miss the entire hitting zone. The good news is it does not count as a stroke (smile).
