This indicates that the top scorer in this clash was on the other team. The top scoring playing receives 100 points for their club which can then change the winner and add the additional 500 winning bonus to that club despite scoring less points overall.

You can read more about the clash and clash scoring here: http://www.wgt.com/help.aspx#clash

I read it and I couldn't see what happened if there was a tie.  Admittedly I wasn't at my most attentive, but maybe that's what they need to know.

Or do the sensible thing and stop playing them.

WGT has consistently ignored all criticism by refusing to make them fair and based on skill. Add to that pathetic prizes....they rely on the philosophy that there is a fool born every minute.......sadly it is true.

The concept was great, the implementation was so bad it immediately alienated most players from participating.

Just moved up to 544th position . You do not need to spend any money . Usually 2 or 3 rounds with the free superpasses is enough to win .

    True!

    Nevertheless, the event is soaring.

One hour before the end, when some CCs can't play another Clash, the approximated numbers are stunning:

Georgian far in front with 260,000 points, Silver Dollar follow-up, 208,000.

3rd place @126,000, 4th @63,000 (That was enough to win "in the Olde Days").

    100th >12,000, 200th >7,200 points. (We used to be 140th with less.)

So, the three leaders collected 600,000 points.

The next 197 share about 3,500,000 (*), averaging to 18,000 per CC.
(*) in an Adam Riese type of estimation.

The only explanation that I have is the Course Builders - they may be attractive enough (at 400 cr value) to draw the participation.
