    MainzMan:
~snip~ You cannot open your stance, move the ball forward or backwards in your stance or any of the many things you can do in real life to alter the outcome of the shot.  You cannot apply real life golf dynamics to a game. ~snip~

Sure you can Champ.....it is called "Shot Shaping".....

Draws and Fades are shots featuring controlled movements of the golf ball.

So, in regards to an right-handed golfer, an draw curves from right to left, while an fade curves in the opposite direction, from left to right.

    TO HIT AN NORMAL SHOT:
[01] Place the aim triangle in the desired target location.

[02] Swing the club and hit the "Ding".

TO HIT AN DRAW: (curve the ball to the left)
[01] Place the aim triangle to the RIGHT of the desired target location.

[02] Open the face of the club slightly by droping the dot in the center of the ball to just an little below center.

[03] Swing the club and hit the ball on the LEFT side of the "Ding" by 1/4 or 1/3.

[04] Do not over swing. Swinging really hard with an open swing encourages an slice (to the right).

TO HIT AN FADE: (curve the ball to the right)
[01] Place the aim triangle to the LEFT of the desired target location.

[02] Open the face of the club slightly by droping the dot in the center of the ball to just an little below center.

[03] Swing the club and hit the ball on the RIGHT side of the "Ding" by 1/4 or 1/3.

[04] Do not over swing. Swinging really hard with an open swing encourages an hook (to the left).

    APPROACH SHOTS:
[01] Hit an Draw when the flag is on the left part of the green. This allows you to aim for the middle of the green, which is where the ball should land if you fail to curve it properly.

[02] Hit an Fade when the flag is on the right part of the green. This allows you to aim for the middle of the green, which is where the ball should land if you fail to curve it properly.

[03] Remember, the more loft the club head exists, the more difficult it will be to apply the side-spin necessary to draw or fade the ball. (WGT Shot Shaping = 0.5)

Repetition is everything in golf. If one can gain confidence with an shot, it is one of the greatest tools one can have.

    AS AN SIDE NOTE:
[01] It is advisable that everyone take an lesson form Dneirf every once in an while.

    [02] Please read carefully: https://www.wgt.com/

    God Bless,
    -Dneirf

Those are not draws and fades. If you can call them anything  they are controlled pushes and pulls.

Perhaps more people might do so if Dneirf would proofread his lessons, an' stop the "an"noying habit or using "an" in places where "a" is the proper article. An', I guess while I'm at it, can anyone explain how someones' stats can become so skewed ?

    Doc :)

    Vns, Doc ;-)

Seems like our "friend" doesn't only have his name backwards, but everything else as well. Considering he's talking out of his a$$, I pity his dental floss...

Lol @ Ken & mkrizan, but seriously, take a look at those stats...

    35.97 Driving Accuracy

    24.03 GIR

    20.16 Sand Save

    7.06 Scrambling

.98 Putting Average per Hole ?

And, it goes on, nothing makes any sense, I suspect alien activity !

    Doc :)

True Doc, The rest of his putting stat's are terrible except for the above, Very suspect, other worldly!. His stroke average of 99.83 leaves a lot to be desired also but I'm sure his GIR will Improve dramatically once he's mastered the dot & missed ding

The 0,98 putts per hole happens, when someone has over 17000 "others" (worse than a DB) on the scorecard. It means he played a ton of rounds, where hewiffed the ball off the tee 10 times on each hole and never reached the green. Therefore, holes were played, but no putts were taken ;-)

People tend to do that, when they want to level up, without tiering up. Not sure what good would that do him though ;-)

    Ken

Or his "fade" sliced out of bounds 5 or 6 times in a row on every hole.
