This is surely not going to last ?

The 5 and 7 day rounds are essential to any CC that needs to have good participation in its tournaments. Why - because people cannot play every 3 days, they have jobs, homes, families, holidays and other things in their lives. It is essential for a CC tournament to cover both weekdays and weekends.

If this isn't changed back then you are going to see the end of many CC's.

    Mine included.

Thanks, icon.  +1 on what oneeyed said, plus this:  I know 1-round tourneys can still be 5 or 7 days, but multi-rounds are not only great for monthly CC tourneys, but take some of the administrative work out of setting up tourneys.  The longer a tourney can last (at least some of the tourneys), the less often new ones have to be concocted.

I also contacted CS .  They said it was an unintended consequence of the update.  However with it being the weekend, I don't expect it to get fixed before Monday at the earliest.

    Fair enough.

Thanks Icon for the response, and the support everyone.

I forgot it is still the weekend, so fingers crossed.

While The Peoples Club does not favor 7 day multi-round single play tournaments; I can see how others CCs would.

In our CC, the administrative work is taken care of for single play weekly tournaments over a month (and as well our Points Championship Tour for closing in on 5 years now)  taken care of with a single click of a button.

    However

I am sure it is not that easy our fellow CCs who depend on 7 day, multi-round tournaments for there monthly tournaments.

I therefore encourage WGT to bring back the 7 day option in multiple round CC Tournaments.
