Ok correct me if im wrong here.

Yellow to orange is very fast

    Red is fast

    Black is even grade

    Dark blue is slow

    Light blue is slowest

If this correct then why does a light blue to dark blue to light blue green, 20 ft put hit at 15 ft goes 9 ft past the hole with a putter set at 15ft?

Correct me if I'm wrong but are you trying to associate those colors with actual green speed? They're indicators of slopes with light being the bottom of the slope and  dark being the top. So a putt going from blue to red is going downhill just like going from red to blue is uphill. The speed is something different and doesn't have a color to it.

    Apologies if I'm not understanding.

It took me a long time before i realized that the putter distance is set at the lowest green speed. So if you are an ametuer using a 15 yard putter, with a 7.4 green speed, then at the half way mark, on the meter, the putter yardage is 7.5(half). Likewize if you are a legend using the same 15 yard meter, then halfway is no longer 7.5 yds, the line to the right of halfway mark is now the new 7.5 yard spot. And it verys for every green speed. The meter is only true at the 7,4 green speed. I don't know if this will make sense to any1 but me, but i hope i helped a little.
