high ranking players disconnecting

  Having got to pro level myself,i`m finding that higher ranking players are disconnecting from the tournament just to save their ranking position.

  Lets face it,we all play bad at times but if they pack up they should be docked points.

  After all, in truth,they are holding a false rank,and thats not how this game should be played.

  I`d be interested in hearing your views on this.

  You should also know that once you have enough ranked games at a particular ranking, your scoring average is not impacted by a high score.  Your average will only go down.  I believe this was done to reduce sandbagging.  Makes the quitting all the more puzzling if you ask me.  I guess it's just frustration.
