I dont know about other owners but I am sick and tired of people joining WGT and posting a pornographic picture as their profile. I have children in my club and why should they have to see this type of thing. There is a place and time for everything WGT is not the place.

These players are then being accepted into Country Clubs, some without any checks by the owner, as long as people can enter country clubs automatically this will not stop. So from now WGT  lets get rid of the button in owners tools that says

Yes allow new players to join my club automatically upon membership request. Get rid of it.

Owners need to be responsible as well, but at least this way we owners will be able to see who is joining and get rid of any players who dont have a reasonable photo.

I know that there are many different standards that we all have, I am talking about total nudity, pornographic acts, if as an owner we dont make a stand then perhaps WGT should close the club down.

I am not a prude, I quite like the female form, my wife like the male form, but not totally on view dangly bits.

I have started vetting the new players and advise WGT each time I find one that is not appropriate, I then leave it up to them to decide one way or the other, but at least I have tried.

Some clubs look for that kind of stuff , and some players only friend them Pic players , It is a shame to see that kind of thing on a golf game .

Keep letting WGT know when you see something / pic that is not needed here .

This is Our house , Our game , Our community . Help keep it clean .

Could not agree more, no way anyone gets in our club with those pics or even the odd amazing staus ive read.

Not the sign of someone who will join and ingratiate oneself.

Yes there are the hairy bikers using female supermodels (by the way folks, those beauties dont play WGT)  as avatars, and again yes i dont look like Coco the clown in real life, as is mine. But i have seen some avatars where you can see what they have had for breakfast.

I also aint a prude but its amazing how they are allowed to have these pics.

More amazing how some fool will then send them a sleeve on the promise that they will talk dirty back to them..........but not like Geoff Capes.

Yes allow new players to join my club automatically upon membership request
Yes, allow new players to join my club with my approval first
No, do not list my club as looking for new players,
and hide Request Membership button on the club page

I use the second option in owner tools. They need my approval to join my CC which gives me the option to deny unwanted players membership.

Allowing players to automatically join a club is not the problem its the profile pictures that they are allowed to use . As a club director I am allowed to invite players to join the club . I personally look at every players profile before extending a club invite . If WGT is to change anything to resolve this issue , then it would be stopping players from uploading profile pictures .No in real life Im not Tiger Woods just a fan of his . Thats where the problem lies in the uploading of pictures by players .

All we can do is look and report any profile pics that we feel are inappropriate to WGT . The rest will be up to WGT . Both club owners and club directors should vet all club member invites as well as monthly roster reviews of member profile pics as well . Thats all we can do as both game and club members and the rest will have to be done by WGT .

Some of the problems lie in that you can change your profile pic's so we all need to be aware of club members who get in on one pic and then change them afterwards.

I applaud all club owners and directors who vet their members on a regular basis all I can say is well done to those people.

We can stamp it out if we want to, I want to so will look at new player profiles every day and report anything I see, I cannot however report those that change their picture, so thats where we need to help each other.

Once reported WGT do deal with  quickly and I thank them for that we are here to play golf not look at top shelf magazine pictures.

Cudos Alan, what a wonderful post. I had my own club for 5 years, but was never able to get the big numbers going. probably because I had checked out peoples friends pics. that spells out what type of character they had below the surface. I have more than seen my share of unscrupulous trashy things on here. Unfortunately, the might dollar suoercedes principles..

you the boss, your club,   run it like you want. you are a sensible man. would love to match with you sometime.

    Blessings...Chipper

Yes I agree wholly.  I use the second option - approval first.

Sometime ago I did accept a CC request and everything was normal.  Then the profile pictures started changing for the worst.  Myself being a female CC owner I was appalled that a person could display such a disgusting picture.

Yes she was warned that if she did not change her profile she would be deleted from the club.  Changed picture for sure but way worse so I showed her the door.

Yes get rid of these pictures.

Completely agree with all that has been written on this post. As a Director for our club, I try to check each of our recruits to ensure we're getting the type of player our club is looking for in order to mesh with the other members.

Some of the profile photos I have seen are totally appalling and certainly not needed on a virtual reality golf game. WGT needs to keep those type of people off of it's website!!
