Clubs no longer available

  Can something be done about clubs that are no longer available that give some players an advantage over others?

  Nike clubs are the obvious ones at the moment.  They are gone for obvious reasons, but purchases of these remain behide in the game.   Replacements available dont match stats and certainly not lvl to unlock.  Can wgt not release the old clubs renaming them WGT special editions?

  The clubs that f*ck me off right now are:

  the nike lvl94 3wd which has no equal until lvl99. About 10 years playing time.

  the taylormade driver black edition level 93  which has no equal until lvl98. About 9 & 1/2 years playing time.

  Anyone else have similar thoughts?

  Hey Thefullmontygolf,

  When we announced the Nikes were to be removed, we issued a promotion that lowered these clubs 5 levels. This was also done with the TM driver beforehand you spoke of. These clubs were only available at this level for the last few months the Nike equipment was in the Pro Shop and have remained as such because players purchased them at these levels.

  The replacements you are speaking of, specifically the Callaways at Level 99, are almost stat for stat identical to the Nikes that were removed only they are at their proper levels (Where the Nikes were pre-promotion)

  I hope this helps clear up questions regarding these clubs and their replacements.

  Wrong place I know but take 1 off the forgiveness, and add 1/2 to the meter speed would be a good variation??

  I`ll finally get to lev 95 in about 2 weeks. Had I done this a few months back, I would have scooped that lev 95 Nike driver in a heartbeat. I don`t suppose ya`s have any left around that might be for sale? ;) I have  5,000 credits ready to go or maybe unfortunately, I`ll just have to hang onto it for about another 2 years when the lev 96 BigBertha becomes available to me if I`m even still around then

  Thanks for the info WGTElectro.

  Some players at some times could get these clubs and the rest of you are not getting them helps loads.

  You should never have dropped the levels of these clubs before removing them as this just pi$$e$ us off now they are gone.  Just made lvl94 after an eternity at 93.

  Can you have a drop all high end gear 10 levels day, shut me up for good and take my creds?

  You'll have to double+ your XPs for L99 (ca. 2,016,000 XPs), thus they get much more from you while you're grinding :(

  The good news is you can get the new MD wedge...

  The bad news is...

  It'll take maybe TWO years play to get the full set !!  ;-)

  One strange decision that...^

  Going from L86 to L89 to get the ATV wedge set I remember was a pain, never mind going 2 full levels mid 90s.

  I highly doubt you'll see another drop in lvl's for gear any time soon.

  Well maybe the Nike balls when they get ready to disappear, but after the cash they raked in from the Nike clubs they're more than likely set for a while.

  Unless of course they decide to make a run on Fisherman's Wharf.

  same,they could bring the Bertha L96 287y driver down a few levels to allow us compete in driving stakes and even things out a bit.

  I am only L-83 and that being said,  I can imagine your frustration.  I think that it is only right that upon the removal of any equipment that is agreed superior at a given level, A replacement equal to or better be put into play at the onset.  That would only be right. IMO  I don't however think that any equipment removal from store shelves be reason for players who had purchased the item or items to be forced to remove it from their playable inventory or their person.  This also is only right.  IMO <well that's my .02> OK  Maybe 21/2 or even .03  Thanks  ~Vinnie~
