Nothing wrong with that..........     Our CC has pretty much the same approach.  Until WGT makes substantial changes that would make a CC "meaningful".... the only reasons to be in one are for the putter and shot pals.........  which we have.

We have had people come and go  and that's perfectly fine.......no hassles, no issues, no problems..............

We have no desire to be a large CC....actually I think we have (at best) 5-6 members.  We require NOTHING of anyone..... join if you want or not.....  we'll be friends either way.

Should you care to be a "clasher".....fine,  you are welcome to play and use any passes available....ask other members to join you...or not....it's all good.

Need a favor? A few sleeves? Some advice? A helping hand?  Just ask....  but be responsible about it......  we're NOT Liberals and don't offer unlimited welfare.

Wan't to post on in the CC forum?  Have at it.....  but again, be responsible........less one of the other members may want to adjust your attitude.

As mentioned, no rules here either........and it works out rather well.......

Someday, you may see the wisdom of what we are doing but it's obviously not for everyone.

LuckySkreet - and just because we don't have rules, it doesn't mean your membership is unconditional, right? I check each player's profile before they are accepted and not everyone gets in. We actually have very little turnover.

Don't listen to them.  I love what you're doing.  If some beta males like being told that they need to do XYZ to "belong", that's good for them.  I have enough rules at work.  Last thing I want is being compelled by pixels on my own time.

You keep on keepin' on, sir.

Well....sorta.      We don't have a "swinging " or "open door" policy....  but. with the very few members we have, we've been around for a long time......it's fairly easy to spot a multi, snert, troll,  or otherwise undesirable.....       If anyone takes the opportunity to read the WGT  rules, appreciates the game, and golf in general....and is NOT one of the previously mentioned....we'll welcome them in...       Several occasions we have had "newbies" that came for the free putter and shot pals....that's fine, no reason to go into their pocket for those items....and later they decided they would prefer an "active club"....we've recommended and helped them find a suitable club and vouched accordingly....      It's just the right thing to do.....     Point being.....  we are more interested in playing in which venue we choose as individuals.....and not spending the associated time involved with attempting to make everybody happy and managing an active club and until there is some type of "real" and "meaningful" reason to  grow into an active club we'll take a pass..........

You're not "them".  That's for the owners and officers of clubs with highly specific demands.  They outnumber the two of you.
