  I'd imagine that the loss of Oakmont was due to some sort of NEW budget restraint that has been placed on the WGT COURSES product by it's new owner - Top Golf.

  So regarding the recontracting of WGT's courses, are we now going to experience the loss of an old course each year in order to release 1 new? 

  ie     2017 - OAKMONT for ERIN HILLS 

  eg    2018 - BETHPAGE BLACK  for SHINNECOCK HILLS 

   2019 - Will we get a new course this year, as the open will be at PEBBLE BEACH?   ( a current wgt course that should still be under contract by 2019 I'd imagine.)

  It woulda been nice to be told that Oakmont course was closing down for use, rather than just taking it away.

  You could have held a going away Tournament or something similar! lol

  You told us about the NIKE contract finishing & then dropped the levels needed in order for the lower levels to purchase the equipment upgrade before it was gone, probably making another squillion from club sales in the process! 

  (& you couldn't afford to renew Oakmomt ?)

  Bring back Oakmont!! 

  We should be getting MORE for our money...er...um...check that  -  .....MORE for the money that is spent here, NOT less!

  Question should have already been answered, but hasn't.

  I can say, in our club, ongoing custom course tourneys that include Oakmont holes are working.

  But can I create new one with pre-existing custom course? I do not know.  Do I have to re-design course?

  If WGT is springing this on us by surprise, answers should be ready.

  The answer is close to you - just have a look at the course in the edit mode. I saw here that the OAK holes have been taken away - there are blank holes, and we'll have to redesign our custom courses accordingly.

   

  I also don't understand all that ranting about "missing" information:

  They are the Hold-Your-Tongue Tribe from Bay Area, so we should be used to such situations. We won't get more of their business secrets than Icon's statement.

  The solution is so simple!!! All WGT err... Top Golf has to do is renew the contract with Oakmont, but since that may cost them a few $$$ it's likely not going to happen. Only way to get those corporate weenies attention, is to bite them right in the wallet!!!

  Best way to do this, is that if for one whole week no one played, I bet this just might wake'em up!!!
