We Want Oakmont Back -- Petition

  Great point. How many posts do you see on here from folk who have only been playing few weeks and they grumble about not being able to break par.

  Some who have been here a few months call the top players cheats as they can only hit a mid 60 score.

  So what do they do..........make it easier to keep newbies form giving up.

  Not that im benefiting as ive been here years and im still Sh1t ;-)

  Yep that's the problem with cheat threads....Yes it goes on, but it's best left alone until someone is real good in a high tier and wondering about a shot difference here and there in some credit thing......... Start shooting 25 off the blacks and look again basically..............

  Sadly as it turns out, it was not WGT/Top Golf that decided to end "Oakmonts" long standing agreement, but rather the upper management of Oakmont itself, that  opted out!

  Perhaps, if enough wgt members would take the time to message Oakmont Country Club and request that they renogiate the contract, there is a slim, but realistic chance, that we might get this world class course back!!!

  I'd like to see it too, but it would not surprise me.  Given how exclusive Oakmont is, it's pretty amazing they allowed WGT to set foot on their property in the first place.  And the same goes for Merion.  Hope it's not next.

  I'm totally with WGT here to get rid of Oakmont PROVIDED it is to make room for Augusta Nat'l!
