Considering that everyone seems to cue up at the tee box at Erin Hills these days, it is obvious to me that everyone was craving for a new course. Strangely,- many players never played whistler or Cabo due to the little green fee that applies. I played Whistler only a handful of times,- simply because hardly anyone seems interested to play 40 credits to even try the course. I for one do not mind the green fee that applies,- let’s face it, this game is still a business and the company running it needs to make revenues.

But here my suggestion to wgt: implement an “open house” weekend ones in a while at Whistler and maybe Cabo, so all those guys who never played it finally will find out that those courses (especially Whistler in my opinion) are well worth the few credits to play on it. I assume a couple of free days on those courses will give you a fantastic revenue return in the long-run when people got to try those courses and stop shying away from them for some measly credits … this being said,- hold off on this for a week or so as everyone still cues on the first tee at Erin Hills at this point 

I honestly hope we can do this if only so players who haven't tried those courses will be able to enjoy them.

Sounds like a great idea, especially now that Oakmount has been removed!!!

And please find a way for us to use these in CC tourneys. Maybe let us set it just like we do with the custom courses. Charge us per how many players we want to allow in. I wouldn't mind financing the extra cost for my club. Think about all the extra credits to be spent. Win, win, IMO.

I would like to see Cabo and Whistler available for for Country Clubs to use for tournaments.

Even with the green fees, I know that I would have some of my members playing them.

Once upon a time, both courses were showcased in some of the weekly single play tournaments - free of charge. Since that has been stopped a while ago
I doubt that any other free events might become reality.

The official reply doesn't support any other thought.

+1 alosso.  This makes perfect sense when you consider that Top Golf doesn't own those courses.

They were made available for free for a day for all eligible formats iirc.. Some time around Halloween in 2015.

They were made available for free play once before . Awhile back about a year ago they were opened for free play to nation members . It lasted for a couple of weeks but has not been done again since then .

I played them a few times then but not since then . Im not going to pay to play them not while I have free courses to play . WGT should buy them both outright and then make them like the rest of the courses free to play .
