Calculating distance to pin

  Distance to the pin is usually given in units of yards or feet. Also shown is downslope or upslope given in units of inches, but sometimes feet. Can anyone give me a rule-of-thumb to follow when factoring these two components together (i.e. the distance to pin taking into account upslope or downslope), to figure an approx. power meter percentage?

  He has lots of good tips, including a GS Wind/putting Calculator.  It's down loadable and will help you adjust for wind displacement and elevation as well as shot distance.

  It will help you quite a bit.

  The classic estimation is "one yard distance for three feet of height" towards the green and "one foot distance for every three inches of height" when putting.

  The latter works for the Starter putter, too.

  But, for all other Starter clubs, it's more of "one club for five feet (up) of height", and their low trajectory forbids to cross many pre-green obstacles. It's more like seniors' golf, seeking alternatives and aiming for the grass-covered entries.

  Congrats for you achieving Master tier with this equipment!

  I usually shy very much away from using any CC forum thread to advertise, unless it's a specific recruitment thread.

  2. By all means do refer to your clubs website FAQs, which covers off a real simple way (without checking I just say that and so no comparison as to which is best, equal or not etc)..).......

  Simple suits me and I nwas good enough for the 200 and below credit RGs I sometimes annoyed real good players in.  Plenty of vids showing it all in play and working if that helps. I would add, include club mapping in any research, and the club coach will be more than happy to help out too as a follow up / whenever as will the CC forum (in addition to these very good forums of course).
