AgentBrown123 has submitted the Razer Abyssus v2 1000 polling rate mouse.

I use the Logitech M325C wireless laptop mouse, acceptable but far from perfect.

Please help add to this list, it will help me & others select a better mouse. Thanks

Logitech M100 wired mouse you can find them at the finer stores Kmart Walmart and the like . You may have to take out a second mortgage as they will cost anywhere from 5 - 10 dollars . Bottom line the wired mouse tends to work better than the wireless version . Also make sure that you have the mouse settings turned up for faster click speed too .

Been on a Logitech wireless mouse forever, same one.  No clue about polling rates or anything else because the only issue I ever have is when the battery fails. Spending money on exotic pointing devices isn't going to fix anything.

Razer Death Adder 1000 polling rate

    Mad Catz R.A.T, 3 or R.A.T. 5 both with 1000 polling rate

Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime 1000 polling rate.

There are many many more very good gaming mice with 1000 polling rate. The thing is to find one that works best for you. My main concern after polling rate is size. Many of the gaming mice are fairly big and if you are like me with short stubby fingers they are just too hard to use. The Logitech G302 and R.A.T. 3 fit my hand better than any gaming mice I have tried.

I use a Hama uRage Reaper gaming mouse. Polling rate is 1000 hz. Wired mouse, very good one, i recommend it, but it doesn`t taste well after a bad shot. Strawberry flavor would be good.

Logitech M 100, or the laser version M 150 are good mouses too, and that for little money. Easy click, wired, that`s important for me. I used or tried both and can recommend both too. But those are also not flavored.

Much appreciated guys. I placed the Logitech M100 ($9.47) & the Redragon M601 ($12.99) on order at Amazon. I will test both out playing wgt on my Win7 Desktop & report back.

Keep the suggestions coming, even if you have put them in another thread. It will be great having all mouse advise in one thread.

What put you off with your Logitech to begin with? I have 2 Toshiba Satellite laptops, each using its own M325 and I can't something else working better.

If you do a test of polling rate, you will find it only applies when you MOVE the mouse, not when you CLICK the mouse. The purpose is determine WHERE the mouse is. When you CLICK, it is an instant INPUT. So, any decent mouse should work fine. Gaming mice with high polling rates are perhaps helpful in "moving" environments, like shooting games.

    Polling Rate Explained

A mouse’s polling rate is how often it reports its position to a computer. Polling rate is measured in Hz. If a mouse has a 125 Hz polling rate, it’s reporting its position to the computer 125 times every second. In other words, 125 Hz polling rate means the mouse is reporting its position to the computer every 8 milliseconds. A 500 Hz rate would mean that the mouse is reporting its position to the computer every 2 milliseconds.

Logitech G502 wired, and actually just slowed the polling rate down from 1000 to 500.  But still running default 1600 DPI.

Would still be running either the MX Revolution wireless, or the Performance MX wireless, but both need to be torn apart to fix the left click swiich.

Thanks Jim. I've used the M25 & similar Logitech wireless laptop mice exclusively for wgt every since starting. Mine has become inconsistent with meter speed at times. Basically making it terrible for intentional slight misdings. I never could ding very well so my game is based on misdings, lol. It could be getting old, they don't last as long as the more expensive mice. I wanted to rule out the mouse as being the problem. I wanted some wired mice for one of our laptops & an older desktop anyway so these won't go to waste regardless.

Thanks, skccvb. That's what I read about polling rates too, but both those I ordered were cheaper than my Logitech M25 so I thought why not.

Thanks Gary, good reviews on the Logitech G502 but I need the mouse to be more ambidextrous. I have to switch hands or use both when my nerve damage acts up.
