You've been a member for almost 6 years, and this is the first time the wind has had no effect on one of your shots ? ( Or, the first time you've commented on it in the forums ?) I think what people took exception to was the way you implied that the "Game" somehow did this because you scored a "Birdie".
There are a range of variables that come into play on any given shot. Let's say they're scaled from 0 through10, sometimes wind will have no effect, sometimes wind will have maximum effect, most of the time it will fall somewheres in the middle of the scale. The same applies to club distances, accuracy on a dinged shot, putting precision, how much effect the speed of the dots will have on a break. Deviation from the "norm" is an intrinsic part of the game, which keeps it challenging. Hopefully that doesn't sound too childish.
