i understand that giving an avg completion data check can help weed out quitters from games but i have had a yellow check mark for what seems to me an awfully long time. i finish rounds i get into and i can only assume that i have this yellow check mark because i have had alot of partners quit on me and i am getting held accountable because they quit i don't know what its gonna take to change this but i should not be penalized because i end up with a jerk as a partner. now i get get booted from games because the host sees my yellow check mark and puts in the chat window no quitters allowed and boots me. i don't quit on games but i get viewed as a quitter.

Start playing Blitz games (dozens of them) with friends to recover green status.

    +1!

And, remember that A/S games do not count to the Completion badge - neither positive nor negative!

OK so now Im curious , how does one check their status completion rate ? Even though I have played very very little multi player games , would like to see my completion rating . Also how and to what games does it apply ? Is it only muti player or stroke play as well ?

To check your rate, start to set up an MP game. You need not invite anybody, but you will see your badge, green, yellow, "orange". But, you won't get any precise measure where you stand in the rating.

AFAIK, all MP games except A/S count to the rating. Stroke play may take a special place because players can finish the game as a partial group or solo. No idea how this would count.

Thanks for the info I set up a M/P and it shows me as green . It also counts with stroke play . I set it up too and got a green  as well . So I guess they all count except A/S , which I can see why A/S doesnt count due to it requiring 2 people teams to play . It wouldnt be fair to penalise a player if their team mate drops out or quits .

So now we know all multi player ranked rounds count with the exception of A/S . So would stand to reason if a player drops a stroke play round it will count against them as well . Quitting is quitting so finish what we start seems only fair .

The badge also shows on A/S games - to show doesn't mean that it counts.

I would agree to that thought, but I'm not sure.

The reply from C/S is that stroke play rounds have no effect on completion rating . Even if the round is a created multi player event and a player quits or fails to finish the round it will not count against that players avg completion rating . So now we know for sure .

    Thanks - good to know!

So, it leaves Match, Blitz and Skin as relevant for the completion badge.

Fun fact: This side of strokeplay has never been discussed before.
