With all due respect, Paul, YOU have it quite wrong.

The FAQ doesn't say which games affect the rating.

A/S has been officially excluded a few weeks after the completion rating was introduced, together with yet another change. You remember that?

No Alosso it seems that Paul is right . Got another reply from C/S and in it they corrected their previous answer . So now according to C/S it does seem that multi player stroke play rounds do count against a players completion rating .This is because another player is involved . Only single player stroke play rounds dont count .

Yeah I knew that disconnects would count as a quit. Even though it may be due to poor internet and so forth . But we didnt know if stroke play multi player rounds would have any effect on the rating . I had previously thought they would but again neither I or alosso were sure . this is why I sent a kite to C/S and asked them about it . I think sometimes they only half read the kites when they get them using auto replies as a quick fix .

So again I asked and to both questions their reply at those times were no . Then when I was checking for any new emails I saw another reply from C/S  . In the new response it corrected the other replies so now we all know . Its just another tidbit of information that we can share with others when needed in future forums .

Alosso . Rightly so questions the alt shot and match play formats ( same thing ) .

More discrepancy. I didn't say that.

To me, A/S has been definitely "out" for a long time, while matchplay is "in". We didn't discuss stroke play but that has been called "out" now, and "in".

I think that you had some misinformation a long time ago . Everyone knows that stroke play are the main rounds that are counted for game completion . Always have been .

Alosso . Rightly so questions the alt shot and match play formats ( same thing ) . He never doubted the stroke play .

They were never in doubt by anyone .

No I wasnt misinformed a long time ago but a day ago . If you go back to the start of the thread and read my first response to the thread . You will see that I stated as far as player rating goes I didnt have a clue . In my 6 years of playing I have only played maybe 4 - 5 multi player rounds . Mainly due to the dq  and abuse complaints that players were posting threads about in the past .

So Im 99.999% single stroke play thats what I Ilike to play . Its also due to the point that I`m not much of a chatter when playing . So to most of my friends dismay Im a player not a talker . When I want to chat I come to the forums and hang out and chat .

So my posts speak for themselves and had you started from the beginning of the thread and not 1 post reply you would have had a better understanding of what was both going on and being said .
