Every time I click to swing the Flash settings/properties box opens.

I am not touching the right mouse click at all, have tried 3 different LogiTech mice. It does not happen when putting when I pull the meter back as little as possible but practically every other time I swing this box opens on the game client window, the box that normally opens if you right click.

Then I have to click again anywhere to get rid of it. It is not altering my game play but getting annoying as all heck, been happening for 6 weeks now. I dump Flash cache and use CCleaner regularly and Flash itself has been updated several times since this started happening.

Any suggestions folks? Scott Hope maybe?

If you're on Maxthon, try playing around with mouse gesture settings, it might go back to normal.

Go into your device and printer settings . Maybe an update has thrown your mouse settings off . So check the mouse settings and even reset your mouse settings and see if that works .Also you can try unplugging your mouse and then plug it back in which can also reset the mouse .

    Hi TP

I had something similar a while back, I had no idea there were two tiny buttons on the side of the mouse and that you could also click the wheel by pressing it. This was set to default, a double click. Moving the aimer and unknowingly doing that would cause the aimer to stick to the cursor! Had many a time out and panic attacks trying to shake the thing off!

Sounds crazy, but search your mouse for hidden buttons.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Rich,

I didn't know that either.  And they say you can't teach an old dinosaur anything new.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions all, much appreciated. Unfortunately none have helped yet, have tried 3 different mice, reset settings, no side buttons on the mouse. Just weird. Does not happen on putts, just 95% of all other shots. As I said, not affecting the game play at all, just annoying as all heck. Every time I click to ding a drive or approach the window pops up as if I right clicked to open settings or send a bug report, etc. I click again anywhere and it disappears. Dunno, just annoying. Been playing 2 and 1/2 years and just started experiencing this in last 6 weeks or so.

This is really crazy.  Have you tried another browser?  It seems you mentioned everything else, but that.  It might be worth a try.  When I first started I used Firefox also, as it was my browser of choice, until I realized it was causing me problems in the game.

I eventually went to Maxthon 3, and now run Maxthon 4.9  with Opera as a back up.  I keep them only for WGT and they both work great if I keep them cleaned up.

    Good Luck Mate.

    Hi TP

Time for Plan B . I never thought to ask which window it was that kept popping up. This the culprit..           ??

If it is, good. If not, Plan Beer.

If you now right click on the game client window and then on Global Settings it should open another page. The Flash Help page.

and now, finally click on the Global Storage Settings Panel.

This window should pop up. Make sure both boxes are ticked and then you can close the page as normal.

That should override the need for the annoying little one to pop up at all. Hopefully that will work, if not I'll be outside working on Plan Beer!

    Cheers!

    Rich.

Wondered why my ears were hot, lol.

Looks like you're getting lots of help here TP and I think whoosh might be on the right track.

Is the box that whoosh posted  the one that you're seeing?
