    mrjwhite:

as above , the approach to #4  any tips ? always short or to long

Play right of the hole if you're a legend. If you're within 160 yrds you might be able hold the green and stick one.

As far as hole #2 AvLee nailed it.  The side winds are a little off though. Even a 5mph will move the ball quite a bit. It's a perfect R11 3w as he said.

The simple shot that has me baffled on this course is #1 approach. It's only 5ft up in elevation but play like it's about 20ft up. If I'm 112 yrds with a slight helping wind I have to hit a PW with only slight BS. 112 yrds with slight wind helping is normall full BS and just a sliver short of full shot.

    Green speed help please !!

It seems to me that the greens play close to Very Fast (take off about 15%), and not the Tournament speeds we are used to (take off about 30%) unless I'm putting downhill, in which case they appear faster. It's all very confusing so far.......

Thanks Darsum , not been able to nail the flag as yet , but i guess some holes youve got to be happy with a par .

    Hi All,

Can anyone help me with bunker shots - am using my previous data but its not computing around Congressional lol ??

Say in a trap 40 / 50 with say 12 yds to pin. Just cant seem to get out  cleanly ??

What am I doing wrong, or is it just me lol ?

    Cheers

Pitch it. I'm not sure how your beginner wedges work but the CGs pitch great out of them. Start with full pitches to see how your wedges roll after landing.

@blackbeard-The greens are more like Very Fast with a touch of Tournament thrown in. They definitely are slower than Legend tournament speeds.

I think I birdied that hole once after a lucky bounce out of the rough.

#15 on the back is one of those "par" holes too.

2nd shot on #15 from 185-195. Any help here?

Having a hard time being on left side of fairway which looks like the best way in. Still can't hold the green though.

The approach on hole #12 seems to play about 5 -7 yds longer than the stated distance (usually about 160 yds)...

    Anybody else experience this..?

Absolutely. Was smack on at 160 yards today, missed by 1 pixel and came up at 151. One possible reason is that the green is sloping upwards toward the hole.

This hole just plays longer for whatever reason.

#2 is tough wind behind me I either take a chance and go at it or play a little right and take a 20 footer for birdie.
