Just played this round in the qualifier... incredible start, but poor back9. Discussion is open for the topics: more difficult 9 holes, why do i get nervous while playing an online game and VEM! xD

Kind like my card rip the 1st 9 to bits flying along.

all I had to do was par the last hole for 58  nope hit it in the water & make double. 60 may not be good enough to make it yet.

I did find the back 9 a totally different cause then the front 9 think alot of people are in the same vote.

Back nine is more difficult beyond question, I've had a couple rounds -7 or -8 on front and finished the 18 still -7 0r -8 lol.

I had a pretty similar experience to Hanswurst there.  I was - 7 on the front nine and then moved on to go +1 on the back.  Part of my downfall was trusting that the game had fixed their ludacris fringe flaw.  Guess what, they haven't! That led to a Triple bogey 12 and a crumbling effect ensued.

I'm sure glad I'm not the only one doing this. Shoot 29 on the front. Birdie #10 and par out for yet another 63. Even par the damn par 5s. WTH? Or be 9 under after 14 holes and still be 9 under after 18 holes!!!!

    So damn frustrating.

Without a shadow of a doubt the F9 is far easier than the B9; if you're not better than -6 at worst after 9, you'll be fighting a very tough battle to break the magic 60 mark for guaranteed qualification.

Simple fact is that on the B9, you've got to hit six approaches of around 170yrds+. Slightly off-ding and you're putting from outside of 15ft the majority of the time. Add in the fact of the greater variance in up and downslopes and three holes with significant amounts of water by the greens and you've got a much tougher 9.

Just wait until you've got champ greens on the actual main event; anything slightly off-ding and you'll be putting from the front of the greens. Anything overclubbed on some holes (11 and 14 being prime examples), and you'll be faced with a short chip down a sheet of ice which'll be near impossible to stop. Definitely thinking of practicing with the Cally Spin balls once we're faced with that challenge.

Just shot a 61 with a bogey on the last hole. Tried to play it safe. I think the front is way easier but my card was -5 front -4 back. I don't think a 61 will get me in the finale. We'll see.

Just curious... how did u get to 61 (-10) with a front nine of -5 and a back 9 of -4? Seems like u found a serious loophole there :-)
