    Greetings!

All of us here at the "MOVING FORWARD COUNTY CLUB" wish to extend an invitation to everyone Pro Tier and above, who is truly interested in playing and learning this game we all have come to love.  If you really want to play on a regular basis, with a widely varied group of friendly and helpful people in a safe and stress free environment, our club may just be the home you've been looking for!

We are a very active club  and already at level 14, with 63 members, and that number is growing all the time, so we encourage you to come join in the fun!  We feature "Team Speak", for those who wish to take part and enjoy the game to it's fullest!

Our focus is first, last and always, on meeting the needs of our members and on ensuring that everyone is treated fairly, equally and with the respect they deserve.

In order to assure a fair and even chance for each and every member, we use a "Handicap System" that we believe  closely emulates that used by the USGA and is a welcome addition for all. It will be used in all MFCC Sponsored Tournaments, so everyone will have a good chance of winning, regardless of Tier or Level of experience.

We also have our own WEB Site, that is updated every 24-hours, so that our members can keep up with all that's going on the the various tournaments. Additionally, we offer a mentor-ship program for new and also advanced players, interested in improving their game with a one-on-one instruction from one of our experienced and very talented players, who have volunteered their time and knowledge to give a hands up to any member who asks.

We offer a number of "Pursed" old school style cc tournaments and additionally, we are on Challonge for head-to-head live play, so we pretty much have something for everyone, so please come and take advantage!

Our membership requirements are very simply: All we ask is that you have each of the clubs executive officers (6 at present) on your friends list and that you play and post a score in at least (2) of our Q-School Tournaments each month.

So, come and join us and become part of our family!

Just saw your club invite but b4 i accept, i need to know why exactly i must have your 6 "officers" - 5 excluding yourself - as MY friends ? Don't know about you but i like to choose my own friends.

Also would like to know why i must play in at least 2 of your Q-School tournaments ?

Edit : i just joined "The Wolf Pack" but i still would like an answer to my 2 questions pls.

Maybe that's just a rule their club has... I would hope all the members of our club would at least have all of our directors on their friends list... Makes sense to me... And forcing you to play in 2 club tourneys a month? WOW.... That's asking a lot.... Hope you enjoy yourself at The Wolf Pack CC....

Simply put... Each of our executive officers as a specific function and therefore we ask our members to have them on their friends list for communications purposes. As for the Q-School, this is our way of ensuring club participation. After-all, why be a member of a club if you don't want to make friends and play in tournaments!!! And no quite frankly, this is not asking much at all.  Most other clubs have require a lot more requirements, so the choose is as it should be--- is yours!!!

Having fun and making friends is always our first and last goal, but at the same time there has to be some sort of structure or the whole thing falls apart and is doomed to failure. This has been proven time and time again throught the ages and for better or worse, some rules must exist, or it all becomes a jumbled mess!!!

So if you are looking for a well run club, where all are treated fairly, honestly and with respect, then come join our family!!!

1st of all, the 2 questions were simple and a simple answer would have been enough. There was no need for sarcasm. People who use sarcasm and / or insults as a way to answer and reply to others only show how insecure they are. Only small minded people use these tactics IMO. If your way to communicate is any indication of the kind of members in your club, I'm glad *edit i didn't join i don't belong there. Wow look at that. The guy isn't even part of that club. Talk about not minding his own business!

And secondly, asking why i must play in 2 Q-School tourneys doesn't mean I thought it was a lot or too much. You obviously made an incorrect assumption. I like to play with others as well as in many tourneys or club events. A simple look at my profile would have told you so.

    I'm done here.

    Carry on.
