So I was recently moved up to Master (wish I wasn't - lol) and it's been a bit of a struggle adjusting. The longer distances from the T box require a lot of adjustment from what I used to do in regards to where I aim my drive shot and every other shot after.

Anyway, I'm comfortable with my driver & putter. I also upgraded to the Cleveland wedges. I think what I struggle with most now is PAR 3s, where the distance is usually around +/- 205 yards. My fairway wood can reach but it comes in at such a shallow angle that it's hard to stick the green. I've purchased balls in the past that have helped a little with that, but it bugs me that the balls (virtual, not real) "wear" out. I understand they need to generate revenue but it just sticks in my craw. :-)

Would it help to upgrade my fairway wood? Recommendations? I also wonder if it's time to upgrade my irons to a higher lofted set. I searched and saw some recommendations on the forum but they are a few years old, so I thought I would ask.

I would appreciate any advice on upgrades to my current clubs that would help make the transition to Master a bit easier. Thanks!

Ping G25s L83 will take you to Legend tier and beyond . They can be the last club upgrade that you will need . Its time for clubs with high trajectory and they will be what you need in the end . You have another tier before you move to another tee and that will be at Legend tier . So if you can get the L83+ G25s then all of your bases will be covered at least for awhile . There`s a thread " Advice forNew Players " search >>>>>>>> and read . It has some good helpful advice to guide you along the way .

Stop being a stranger to the forums . Make this a hangout place and you will make friends as well . Plenty of players who will help you out with good solid advice . Im sending you an invitation to join my country club I hope you accept it . Its not an overly demanding club in fact its very laid back . You dont have to be a top player just willing to play and have fun .
