Anyone else noticed this player? He is a Tour Legend but his average is less than most champions! Wins a hell of a lot of weekly etc comps. How come he hasn't been promoted with an average like that!

Can anyone explain how this is possible...without some form of cheating?

Simple answer as to why the person hasn't tiered up is that he/she hasn't played the required number of ranked round at the current tier.

By the way, you should edit the post to take out the part that identifies the player. It's my understanding that identifying players in this manner violates the forum rules. Just some friendly advice.

The only difference between a TL and a Champion besides the number of ranked rounds played is just the name of the tier anyway.

That's very true and an excellent point.

TL tournaments are much easier to win credits ,  I believe this guy has over 900 rounds , Don't know how may as a TL ?  A 54 average ,  I think the OP s concern is lagit ..

His stats are impressive ,  Perhaps he just needs more rounds to advance ?

Are they really that much easier to win than if the person were at the next tier? This is a genuine question because I really have no experience with the tournament side of WGT.

Not because of the title but you would think the Champion's have played more  and are likely better golfers to due to experience.
