the only way to hit low scores....and i'm sure anyone with 1/2 a brain will agree is to practise really hard...get to know every bump on the courses and improve your skills like putting....flopping and chipping.

With a bit of luck.....shots like the following also help :)

    Eagle Congressional #1

    Chip in Congressional #4

I also eagled #6 and birdied both #8 and #9 giving a round of 29 on my 1st time playing a ranked round over Congressional f9......

Here's the rub.....folks like Bollox and AvLee...Priestess etc are quite a bit better than me....so if it's possible for me to hit a 29 on my 1st attempt.....then they'll be hitting 27's relatively easy...and the same goes for the back9 which I played straight after the front 9 and hit a 30.

    tbe

Even if there is a a program that gives you a perfect meter it doesn't mean that you will have a great score. Why? Some of my worse games I actually had more dinged shots than some of my better scores. The night that I shot my first 64 on Congressional I think I had maybe 10 % dinged shot. A program that make a perfect ding every time still won't read the greens for you or read the correct speed for you to chose which putting scale to use. Again it brings to mind my first 64 at Congressional. I had 7 birdies one eagle and 2 bogeys on the last 2 holes. On the backside I missed several medium length birdie putts that the better players would have made. Or to put it like it is. My putting sucks or I could post some great scores. Either I read the break so poorly that even with a perfect ding sometimes I miss my 8 to 10 feet offline or even worse. Or I miss read the speed needed an chose the wrong scale and hit way long or come up way short leaving me with very tough putts for pars. Most nights i miss most of those tough putts for pars. But the night I got the 64 I made all the tough ones until the last 2 holes when my nerves got the better or me and I missed the last 2 tough par putts.

Now if there were a program that did everything for you except starting the swing then there might be cause for concern but there as far as I know no bot program that does it all. And if there were where would the fun be in that. And I doubt that if there were such a program that it would go unnoticed by WGT.Contrary to the opinion of some of the newer players WGT is very diligent in ferreting out cheaters. Whether it be ones who try to use some sort of bot program or people with multi-accounts.

I've been mulling over the "ding-cheat-thing", and one thing I think, is as long as you can aim you drive and "ding it"...then aim your approach shot and "ding it", then you have a pretty good chance at birdies on the putt...so IMO and "ding" cheat program, could benefit the majority of the users.

Anyway, let cheaters cheat, and may our best players kick thier butts!

This whole ding cheat thing  amazes me.  What makes these guys so good is the miss ding.  They know how to manipulate the meter. Intentional  early or late dings compensates for the wind , spin and avatar movements is the key for distance and elevation changes.  Plus their brains are like hard drives, there are 100's of variables to remember for each round they play.

When Bolly shoots a 54 he's not guessing, before every shot he's looking at wind, elevation and distance. His cpu starts spinning and bingo.  203 1/32 bs and 2 pixels early as an example.

The criticism he get's here in the forum and homepage is totally unfair and biased.  He  has played 1000's of rounds on all the courses and every condition possible.   Put in the effort as he does and quit complaining.

    Intentional  early or late dings

Where do I get one of those consistantly, even speed swing meters, for the intentional misses? Do I get one of those consistant speed meters when I reach Legend? Seems my meter is set at random speed for any particular shot/putt.    sometime slow, sometimes fast, sometimes stutter, sometimes consistant.

Please don't get me wrong, Im not accusing this guy or anyone else for that matter of anything, I take my hat off to those who have conquered the inconsistant meter.

One last thought, Ive read in past posts that "MY meter" being inconsistant as it is, are caused by "MY" computer, browser(s), excessive cpu usage, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc and the sites server has no control to adjust performance. So that being the case as a PAYING CONSUMER I should be able to use any and all methods to correct "MY" meter's performance for compatablity with this game.

ps...am not happy about not receiving my 800 CDP today. as was the case three weeks ago, which I wrote to WGT (thrice) with no response. Thank-you for nothing!!!!!

Been here long enough to know all the rules and guide-lines.

Nope, even you can have one.  Go to the Pro Shop and buy the appropriate ball for your setup.  Your irons and wedges have different meter speeds. The starter ball makes them even faster.  Sometime fast, sometime faster.  When Pitching or chipping the meter will be extremely fast.  This is causing your inconsistent meter.

Thank-you for your insight and help, you are correct on the mismatching of clubs/balls has an effect with the meter.  but....I have and use Callaway balls, the starter ball you see was only used to play 1 game and receive 800 CDP for the day. (Which I got screwed out of). I need to level up for equipment I want. Not going to waste my time and money..ie $3=3balls.....thats a joke, and a ripoff in the Costa Nostra category.

But this thread and my post isn't about my clubs, balls....its about the meter, and how it can be manipulated. Regardless of the method utilized. (within the T&C's of course)
