Bollox and Lee, I was by no means insinuating you were cheating. I think they exist, I dont think you guys have used them.  I was just wondering why wgt didnt do more to promote the chance to win i guess. I can understand your desire for privacy. Not that you would give a hoot about my opinion, I have posted some ramblings about it before, i think it happens some.

TDharvey, the people at WGT asked me some questions to form a blog post about the trip, it should be up on the site somewhere this week.

    BolloxInBruges:

Might not look good if I was going after an office job or something to potential employers if they think I'm just going to be wasting time playing golf.

Are you going for a job Bollox? How on earth you find the time for all these things! lol

    BolloxInBruges:

Regarding cheating, the most unethical thing I have ever done is place a white piece of paper below my monitor with 5 marks draw on there with a pen.

wait up buddy.....you'll just get the WGT anti racist lobby on your back :)

    lol...

No worries TD... wasn't interpreted that way in the least on my part.... I just wanted to answer your question and add to the on-topic post.  :^)

I understand what you are referring, and though I must disagree with you that all whom shoot in the fifties use a cheat program; I suspect some may. I am also quite sure that with lots of practice and knowledge of course on WGT one could master the game without cheating.

Though the idea of tiers is very good, some have found that by creating multiple accounts they can take advantage of others. The logistics associated with preventing this would be very complicated.

After reading each and every one of the posts in this particular forum post (cheat programs) I understand it is not a new problem. I have no solution, and no idea what can be done to police the problem. I am hoping someone does!

I cannot belive people are still harping on about this, just except these people are better than you/me and Shut the F**k up. You can moan till the Cow's come home but you won't get any better.

    Practice Practice and more Practice.

I do find this whole subject amusing,if you think someone is cheating then report them to WGT yet personally i have the same opinion as most ppl on here, that by practice practice practice will only make you become a better player.Take me as an example up untill 2 months ago i was a tour pro who played for fun,but decided i wanted to move up a tier so with a lot of hard work an practice i got down to the required average of 66 from 72 and became a master,i'm now enjoying the new challenge of being a master and although i'm an average master the fun part is still there and i'm learning a little more everytime i play!

I have had the privellage of playing against legends such as twoputt and you can only admire how they approach each shot, which only comes from experience in my opinion not from any cheating programmes plus the difference between tiers is there ability to read putts an make them hence posting low scores.

IF like me ure an average player or worry about cheaters then don't play  tournaments which require an entrance fee,as for open qualifying i had a go wasn't much cop thought oh well maybe 1 day i mite qualify, but not for 1 moment did i feel ppl were posting very low scores with a cheating system they're just better payers out there than me an gl to em

To be honest i think the main concern should be muliple accounts and not cheating programmes as i don't think they exist.

Without being shot down in flames if you look at the community spotlight like i just have seen a hack on level 15 whose average is 60.00 wow fair play if he's just a natural at the game but i'm not so sure?

As for some ppl in the top 300 cheating to be honest and not at all sounding derogatory  the likes of us at the lower tiers won't get a chance to see how good these ppl really are as they're probably to busy playing fee paying tournaments in order to get max use out of there skill and experience making a bit of money out of the game or only playing in there own tier level,
